I think Experty is doing great. All cryptocurrencies face the price and volume issues in the beginning.
In 2009, the rate of bitcoins was at the level of 700–1600 bitcoins per 1 US dollar and look where it is now.

i dont think any crypto is comparable to Bitcoin this way...

This works just like Uber only for education, connecting teachers and students, using a rating system in order to motivate both sides to make maximum efforts. At the same time, the payments are automated with smart contracts to simplify and secure the whole process. So the blockchain application in that case seems reasonable. But, it's bad that the project does not yet have a working product.
