Introducing NEO ASICs -

We are bitcoin enthusiasts who are highly motivated to push bitcoin to the next level and to make ASIC Mining easily available for a reasonable price for consumers like us. As I write this, we are ordering parts for Avalon Clone and Klondike boards to mount your chips on. We are located on the East Coast USA. Pictures will be coming when we have the parts arrive. Lead time is 1-2 weeks.

demo page:
http://neo-asics.com/ - Will be converting to a shop webpage soon.

This is a bring-your-own-chips project. We do not have chips to sell.

What we offer:

Hosting:
If you do not have enough chips for an Avalon Clone then we will mount your chips and give you a cut base on how many chips you have. Each Avalon Clone will house roughly 240 chips so your share will be based on how many chips you put in. The fee will be 2% of your profit + (expenses include but are not limited to, electricity, repairs, shipping, taxes etc.).

Avalon Clone aka NEO:
If you have enough chips for an avalon clone then we will mount them for you. You will be paying for the labor and parts required to mount your chips. We will offer 1-4 (possibly even up to 6) modules for an Avalon Clone.

NEO - Avalon ASIC Unit – Clone (YOU PROVIDE Avalon CHIPS)

From: $800
  • hashrate: from 22 Gh/s to 85 Gh/s speed guaranteed.
  • power consumption: ~ 180/360/540/720w @ 230V AC
  • contains a maximum of four hashing modules of 22 Gh/s+ each.
  • self contained unit with Ethernet and WiFi capabilities.
  • open sourced openWRT operating system with webGUI.
  • can be upgraded to generation2 modules once they will be available.
  • can be upgraded at a later stage with additional modules for up to 4 modules per unit.

Klondike Boards:
We will also provide mounting onto Klondike Boards if you do not have enough chips and do not wish to have hosting with us and want to have your own mining machine.

Projected K1 AKA TRINITY - price: ~$35
282-300 MH/s USB miner as shown below

Projected K16 AKA TANK price: ~$105
4.5 - 4.8 GH/s miner as shown below

Projected K64 AKA MORPHEUS price: ~$425

Can you provide details on what is included with your Klondike pricing? Does this include a heatsink, cables, etc? Will the boards be tested?

Yes both the Avalon Clone and Klondike will be good to go and chips will be mounted on and tested (for as long as you want) we can test for a few hours and ship the next day or up to a week (with coins going to your wallet of course Smiley)

This is not a company of any sorts - it is just a project between 2 people.

Why are you using private registration on your domain?
Because I am operating at my house and I don't want the whole world to know where I live.

Who are you?
I have been on this forums and other forums for the past years with good standing. I am currently responsible for another group buy of 782.1 BTC for 10,000 Avalon ASIC Chips. JohnK has all my information and has my permission to release them if there are any dependencies.

Whom does your team consist of?
Myself and a friend. I am mostly doing marketing and getting the customer base needed and managing sales. He will be the one actually mounting the chips.

What background does your team have that would convince us to consider you?

Ragingazn,

Ahhh, I forgot about your neo-asics venture... I am glad to see you get the ball rolling.

Are you licensing the design from Bkkcoins (ie paying a fee for every board sold)?

Can it be safe to assume that if I chose to have neoasics make my klondike miners, I can have my chips from your group order not go anywhere (except onto PCBs) once you receive them?

I haven't been to neo-asics.com for a while...
What payment methods will you accept?

I recall your partner or buddy wishing to order a bunch of chips... are any of those to be for sale installed onto boards?

What method of soldering do you intend to use?

Yup I will talk to him about that.

The chips that we personally ordered will be for testing purposes and personal use. They won't be for sale unfortunately.

It will save you a lot of shipping if you get your chips mounted (if you are in my group buy in general)

I'm interested in getting about 10-12 of the K1s. Also, is your ASIC chip group buy still ongoing?

Thanks.

From: $800

    hashrate: from 22 Gh/s to 85 Gh/s speed guaranteed.

Well 22 Gh/s is $800, so your 1Gh/s is $36.36 per Gh, seems like every one wants to make money
from this assembly??

gotta get them while they're hot Smiley but believe me even at that rate we're barely making anything.

Group buy is done but some people are reselling their chips.

I will have more concrete stuff for you guys as time goes on and when the parts comes.

Does your friend have SMT equipment, or do you outsource mounting to some commercial facility? Pics if the former, disclose the facility if latter.

Do you have sample chips and will you be making and demonstrating a working prototype board any time soon (before the main batch arrives)?

Yup yup I plan on disclosing everything I can. I will be shipping out 8 sample chips per request to BKK Klondike and keeping the rest for NEO ASIC to experiment if the group decide if it is the fair thing to do because I have a lot of interest from this group buy to have their chips mounted here so they don't have to have them shipped out again.

How much will it cost to ship 2 k16 and 8 k1 to Alberta, Canada (built from 40 chips in your group buy)?
I would prefer some form of express shipping with tracking and signature required (USPS or Fedex, NOT UPS).

Seriously?   Are you operating independently from OP?  Raging has been AWOL for weeks now.  The website's account has been suspended...  But somehow you guys are going to be assembling?
