This was really helpful, thank you. I copied the wallets on usb. I scanned my pc, it turned out i have three trojans and 90 other items to remove from my computer. A lot of them are in AppData\Local\Temp.......and there are a bunch of others I'm not sure which is which, and whether or not some of them will delete my wallets when the spyware program removes them. Can that happen? And will i still be able to install the same wallets on another PC from the USB? I haven't noticed fb deleting my urls before, someone must have reported something.
If you've already copied the wallet.dat files then you have backups. Honestly I don't want to give specific advice because I'm not there so don't fully understand your issues. But if you've now found malware then once clear, and before you reintroduce anything onto that machine or any other, you need to be similarly sure that the media you used to transfer data (usb and anything else) is also scanned and clear.

Here's the URL to the bitcoin ATM: https://bitcoinatm.com/Has anyone gotten the high server CPU usage error when visiting http://dvcticker.bugs3.com/? Sorry about that, a cron job is run every 15 minutes to collect data for the chart required for the bounty. I plan to upgrade to a paying host when traffic gets higher, so then the site will be more reliable!

When devcoin was at about 20 sats, there was no price markup. Due to the volatile market, I've had to increase the price. I think you may have a problem with your proxy if you are having trouble accessing the site.
@Unthinkingbit - on the devtome.csv file, it says I get a low multiplier for categorization. What does that mean?
I had asked the same thing. Apparently we're supposed to be adding categories to the bottom of articles (like [[Category:CATNAME]]). All of my articles are categorized, though. http://devtome.com/doku.php?id=wiki:user:smeagol

I think we should try to get DVC on BTC38.com, a chinese altcoin exchange. I hear there is a fee they require for adding a new coin to their exchange, either we could all chip in to pay it or use bounty funds. Also we need someone to contact them in Chinese explaining the merits of DVC and finding out how much the fee is.
If the fee is small under 5 bitcoins, we'll definitely go for it, over that we'll see. Someone, please find out what the fee is. Whoever does will get four shares. Edit: Actually, before I promise that we'll pay a high fee, I'd like to see the volume of their altcoins compared to other exchanges like btc-e. As a native Chinese speaker, I've contacted admin and support of both btc38.com and bter.com (another big altcoin exchange in China) via QQ, they're still not responding yet. I'll post here with any progress.

Those of you who are selling the Devas at these ridiculously low prices, I want to thank you warmly for enabling me to become a rich bastard. A warm thank you! There is still around 10 000 times growth potential. I've been buying like crazy and keep on buying as long as these firesales continue.

I am curious - this is my beast on the way to the moon. According to my estimations, this has really potential to become really popular way of salaries repayments. The receivers of coins are usually the ones having a lot of knowledge thus they should earn decently. This means, despite the number of coins are plenty, the supply will not crash the price since hardly everybody sells together at the same time.

phew, I hope I have finally arrived at the real devcoin thread. I started here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=34586.3580and they told me to go here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=233228.60but that thread was closed with a redirection telling me to go here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=233997.0So since this is the first place where I am allowed to write, I assume it's the correct one. I have a question about the main devcoin.org site. There seem to be two dead links, both at the third paragraph: ...share with the DevCoin community over our thread at BitcoinTalk.org Forum and ...if that's the case, please submit it to XXXX I have seen those two links dead for some while now, and I wonder if that's really the face you want to show first time visitors who are interested in devcoin. Please can you fix that? Thanks.

Just got interested in devcoin. How does this wallet work? How do I back it up? And is this address the right one? 1BzQbNRzLVvgKQqM3HsF3nvC8fJEXr55N3
I see lots of people's adress start with 19 but mine with 1Bz? When you make a new account @ vircurex.com can you start buying Devcoins immediately?
Need some answers first before I buy some devcoins.

It should work just fine. If you want to be sure, enter it in the faucer http://faucet.d.evco.in/ and see if you receive 5 DVC after the round ends. Vircurex has Dvc/Btc trade, so you'll need bitcoin and trade them in for devcoin

Is Devtome down at the moment? I'm getting this message "Error 508. Resource Limit Is Reached", looks like too much traffic! Hopefully it will be fixed soon…
Edit: Is back up already.

...welcome and congratulations on solving the devcoin puzzle and finding your way to the prize. No seriously thanks for the info and I hope those links will be edited soon. A previous thread was pretty heavily trolled for a while, so there was a period of jumps until settling here, moderated. Those links at devcoin.org definitely need to be resolved too. In the meantime there's a lot of information here Devcoin and in other devtome pages.
