There is a FLOOD of new Bitcoiners, if you haven't been paying attention Bitcoins are now worth over $600. So, could everyone that reads this go post one thing somewhere for Devcoin. On your Facebook wall, in a Bitcoin Facebook group, in a YouTube video, in a Twitter tweet, etc etc. Just say something about Devcoin, and hashtag #Bitcoin or something. So that people will find Devcoin while looking for Bitcoin. Please take advantage of this flood so we can raise the value of our shares. I have been looking at the movement through mtgox, cavirtex, vircurex, someone was trying to move the price up too quickly to 900.00, but didn't have the volume necessary to maintain the run, but so far the price is moving as expected according to available liquidity on the exchanges, too many exchanges to manipulate one so drastically... 900? come on! it was just moving past 500.00. But the pace so far is sustainable... we have to observe the movement of altcoins. litecoin has already had it's upsurge... but it has greater liquidity than fiat, so well see it move slowly but surely upwards. so which altcoins are left? peercoin, namecoin, devcoin... these will have their upsurge soon, http://coinmarketcap.com/I'm going to be purchasing Devcoins as much as I can with my bitcoins... of course i'm going to hedge my bets only the coins I believe in. we can definitely prosper from this, so... lets change the tempo. I heard MarkM had some kick ass ideas up his sleeve, we don't need the details but I think a announcement on where we came from, where we are and where we are headed is called for, a Devcoin state of the union address, to let people know we are still here building what we believe in, and they can be part of this too, thanks to the low low price of Devcoin. I'm going to write my first article on Devtome on this, hopefully I can put my best literary eloquence to good use. |

Watch both Vircurex and MCXnow. Buying coins from 1 exchange and selling them on the other can earn you money as well as help the movement of the DVC economy.

Too many dumps, not enough buyers willing to buy at market, but more than enough sellers willing to sell at market. Which is how this can be achieved. Plenty of people trying to sell coins, so you could go to MCXnow and buy coins that are say.00000012 to .00000014 while Vircurex has a massive buy wall of .00000015 or .00000016 or even like .00000020 Don't say it isn't possible. I see it available all the time. When the Bitcoin price goes up and someone with lots of DVC on mcx or vircurex decided to cash out, the other exchange doesn't catch up right away. So you can buy coins on one exchange and sell them on the other. You can even RAISE the price of coins by buying the sell orders, all it would take is like 5-20 Bitcoins and you could 100% control the price of DVC on both exchanges. |

You guys say that too many people are selling, I believe the problem is too many people aren't willing to sell cheap devcoins.
If everyone that got devcoins for free wasn't an ass and would sell them for cheap to people that have to spend money to get them, then the coin would have a wider audience as well as go up in value. Because we get them for free, so their value is 0. You have to sell them (even for .0000001 BTC) because that is the only way to give them value. The person that PAID .0000001 satoshi cares MORE than you, because you got it for free.
The person that bought it for .0000001 satoshi is BETTER for devcoin than you (and me and everyone that gets free DVC). And they are NEW to devcoin, so they are expanding the community.

I've said this a million times but I guess I'll say it again.
DEVCOIN IS INFINITE, there is NOT a set number of coins to be made. Which means if we all get coins and hold them, they will inflate themselves to oblivion.
Devcoins value is based on the flow of its economy, mixed with the progress of the people earning it. SPEND YOUR COINS. HOLDING COINS IS NOT PROGRESSIVE.

THAT IS AWESOME!!!!! But it just says they WOULD make an announcement, not that it is happening. So, we just need to flood them with requests for DVC now. |

It's probably real, but doesn't mean anything really. Just that MT Gox does recognize DVC. They are saying "No shit we would announce that if we started doing it" not "we are going to start" |

Art shops have to know about it, high school teachers need to know about it, anyone who is a hub for connecting developers/writers need to know about it.
So that's it, Get targeted advertisement to get the word to spread, get as many supporters of art as possible, we only have Devtome right now, but it's for the
greater creative effort.
so who wants to start posting into the Devcoin advertisement materials category on Devtome? pictures, videos, pamphlets, writings, personal opinions, anything to show who we are in a spot on Devtome that anyone can find, If each one of us makes one piece we can have everything done in no time; We just have to play it by ear, Devtome is Jazz not a symphony, make what you think Devcoin needs or provide your insight, share it on facebook with your friends, talk about it in art forums. Wherever our kind of people are is where we should be looking.
Devcoin came from the Cryptography community, just a fringe part of it's core, interested in writing, art, philosophy, you name it. We got the technical
know how to get all these new communities that we too are part of to become part of the revolution.
