[DVC]DevCoin - Official Thread - Moderated

I would like to propose a bounty for a few scripts that will help developers make web wallets for devcoin in the future.

1. Auth script - We need a class that authenticates the user and provides a way to check if the user is still authenticated and timeout after N number of minutes.
2. 2FA script - Google 2FA should really be a common feature on any site now days, this should be available on day 1 of any web wallet.
3. Unit Tests - Must have unit tests required as part of the requirement with coverage over 85% to ensure bug free scripts.
4. Front End UI - Generic UI, simple to use, perhaps an inputs.io wallet page clone now that their site is defunct we can at least get something good out of it. - Utilize the design concept for a good purpose since everyone is comfortable with it already. But instead of the inputs.io hiding of the modules, setup the UI as tabs just like the QT client to simplify life for everyone.

I think the bounty should be split percent wise among the users that finish each point of 1-4. Any suggestions as to what should be added to this list?

I suggest that each part get 6 shares, if someone finishes all four they'd get an additional 12 shares. In other words:
1 part: 6 shares
2 parts: 12 shares
3 parts: 18 shares
4 parts: 36 shares

the second developer would get half that. Any objections?

I've created an online ticker-type website for devcoin against the dollar for the chart bounty.

18 shares for a chart which shows the price of devcoins in USD. The chart should show prices from at least 3 months in the past.

I am wondering how I can automatically create a javascript chart or excel file to record the prices hourly or daily. (e.g. the chart automatically updates each hour based on site data)  I will give 5 shares from the bounty if you can assist me!  (maybe more, too!)

I'm sorry but I'd ask, is there any progress on a new dvc wallet which updated to the new bitcoin codebase, with merged mining? I may be missed something 'cause I'm not catching this thread recently.

Are those scripts relative about our wallet?

How is your project supporting Devcoin at this point? You left out everything related to this project. Bounties aren't just based on every open source contributor there is, as that would mean millions of people should be on that share list. Well, I just discovered devcoin, so I haven't done anything directly related to it yet. The first thing I would be happy to do for Devcoin is to modify this page:

I think that if your policy is as stated above it would be a good idea to put it on both of these pages.

I really think that the policy is better for the Devcoin community as it is stated on the web pages, because it is good to promote freedom and free software development in general, and also because Devcoin will be much  more likely to be successful if you could bring in millions of people.

As the newest of newbies here, I obviously don't understand very well what is going on here, but I do find it very interesting, and hope I can be of service.

Unthinkingbit is the one who handled the bounties. I was discussing this with someone else via PM, though, and I think it may be best to allow him to clarify. We actually have a bounty list... somewhere... that has all of the current bounties. Past that, I am not really sure what classifies as being something that can be accepted.
