Bitcoin in retail It is true that you cannot use bitcoin to pay for your goods in retail. Cryptocurrency exchange rate is very unstable and it takes a lot of time to make a transaction. Although it does not mean that all the retailers should refuse from cryptocurrency. Owners of shops and big Internet resources use payment getaways that automatically convert crypto into the local currency. Sellers set the price in the local currency and receive the fixed amount of money for a product. In different years electronics manufacturer Dell, payment system PayPal, online shops eBay and Amazon, transport company AirBaltic, Burger King, TimeWordPress announced that they will accept bitcoin as a payment. In 2017 in Microsoft, Wikipedia and AirBaltic you can buy goods with cryptocurrency. Customers pay with bitcoin and it does not affect on the price and sellers always get the desired result, despite the bitcoins exchange rate and its volatility. This mechanism allows to buy goods using cryptocurrency wallet without using any cryptocurrency in particular. #finom_opinion

There is only one Blockchain In the internet you can see term “The Blockchain” which makes us think that there’s one and only blockchain in the world. But there are many different technologies that go by the name Blockchain. The common denominator is refers to platforms sheared up by crypto, distributed and having some form of consensus mechanism. In the 2015th the creator of Etherium Vitalik Buterin distinguished three main types of Blockchain: - fully private blockchains: “write” permissions are kept centralized in one organization, “read» permissions may be public or restricted to an arbitrary extent. - blockchain owned by consortium: federated Blockchains operate under the leadership of a group. As opposed to public Blockchains, they don’t allow any person with access to the Internet to participate in the process of verifying transactions. Federated Blockchains are faster (higher scalability) and provide more transaction privacy. - public blockchains: state of the art public Blockchain protocols based on Proof of Work (PoW) consensus algorithms are open source and not permissioned. Anyone can participate, without permission. As we can see there are can be many blockchains extisting, and they are of different types. Every type has certain strengths and weaknesses. Each can become useful in some situations, so it’s chosen according to the needs of the project. #finom_opinion

Hello, as we accept investments not only in cryptocurrency, but also in fiat from larger investors, we cannot provide you any proof. However, you can see that the meter on our website doesn't show investment every second, so I think it proves it to be real.

Charity Raises $22 Million in Cryptocurrency in One Year As reported by CNBC, the amount of money donated to Fidelity Charitable, which is run by the American financial corporation Fidelity Investments, reached $22 million worth of cryptocurrency in 2017. From January to November, Fidelity Charitable received $11 million, but since early December that amount has doubled. Such a rise in donations is attributable to it being ‘giving season’ as well as to tax advantages. In the United States, cryptoinvestors are required to pay capital gains tax, but making charitable contributions enables them to avoid doing so. “People are getting smarter about donating appreciated assets, and Bitcoin is the epitome of appreciated assets,” stated the senior vice president of donor engagement at Fidelity Charitable. The organization utilizes payment processing tools to convert cryptocurrency into dollars, with the resulting cash then deposited to the patrons’ “donor-advised funds.” Ultimately, this rise in donations bears witness to the stable interest in the program and can become a valuable source of support for charities in the future. #finom_news
