The v3.5 is now live!

You can find the latest version here:
https://github.com/ALQOCRYPTO/ALQO/releases/tag/v3.5
Directlink: https://github.com/ALQOCRYPTO/ALQO/releases/download/v3.5/alqo-qt.exe

Update-Tutorial: https://alqo.org/update/

This update is a MAJOR update.
Please make sure to update your local QT as well as your daemons within 5 days.

If you are self-hosting your masternode you can use the following commands to update your masternode with only one line of code:
wget -N https://alqo.org/update/update.sh && chmod -f 777 update.sh && ./update.sh

All official hosted Masternodes already got updated and are still running.

There will be another cosmetic-update for the local QT the following days. However, as long as you see v3.5 you are absolutetly good to go.

Keep in mind that we can only guarantee the official pool is working.
https://pool.alqo.org/

Best regards
Alqo Team

Were the binaries updated?  I literally just downloaded them to update the software on my VPS.  My getinfo says "version" : 3050001 so I'm not sure if that's right.

The "issues" were mining pools that were using a flaw in the code to avoid paying the dev-fee on their block rewards! The devs fixed that as fast as they could and did a good job about it IMHO. Of course this was not easy for the mn owners because of the fast update cycle and some problems with it. Hopefully it will be easier for all of us from now on.

But one line of code for an update is as easy as it could possibly get  Grin

Could be the reason that the alqod runs out of memory, I would think about getting a separate VPS for it.What's the minimum spec requirement for a masternode? I am seeing 100% cpu usage

A VPS server installed Ubuntu for remote node running 24hrs/day with the following specs:
1GB RAM (about half used for OS and half for daemon)
20GB drive (less than 1GB used for wallet, some for OS, and some for future.)
1 Static IPV4 Address per node (IPV4 address that never changes) (No IPV6)

I'm glad to see that ALQO has a harmonious community, read a lot of comments, do not see any bad voice, the project is running very well.

Due to the official pool still being in secure-mode the payouts were delayed.

We turned off the security-mode and manually activated the payouts.
You should have already received all open funds in the last few minutes.

If you are still missing funds please contact us at support@alqo.org

I am using the official hosting myself and had to restart only once. Every update is done by the dev team without having to restart the master node from your wallet. Maybe I was just lucky, but it´s working more than well since i rented it a few months back. Especially if you join discord, the information from the team-side is great about everything

That is very true. I was arguing for a masternode newsletter or something alike back in the time when i wasn't using discord. But i can only say to anyone not using it yet: try it out. It is so much better than chekcing the websites and forums for information. Since i use discord i never miss an update or important announcement.

Even with own VPS hosted maternodes there are always "auto-updaters" (one line of code you simply put into your console) that solves the whole updating. Communication from ALQO team is always clear and straight (discord recommended).

Okay than there is really no real reason to complain about issues since  there shouldn't be some. I really like the service since it´s getting out of hand if you have different vps for some Masternodes and maybe he is/ was referring to something like that. Discord is more than great, without it you will miss the majority of great announcements of the Team

The estimated monthly income for ALQO (XLQ, after the swap, more exactly) has been not too high, which requires XLQ masternode investors around 10 months to get their capital investment back before really earning profits from their masternode investments.

Not too high? This is a ROI (annual) of 122.62%(if the price keeps stable)!  It's quite high IMHO. I am sure, ALQO will be one of the profitablest masternodes on long term if the team keep up the good work Smiley
