Currently down more than 20% from last night

I think that Waves is a great coin,
It has a solid road map coming up over the next 6 months - a year and has already proven that it can run its own Exchange and host a number of ICO tokens on their platform.
The main benefit of waves for me is the Leased POS system that they incorporate, I can leave my waves leasing, check back in a months time and see what coins, both Waves/Mining and new ICO launches have been given to me.
I think the price is good at the moment, it can easily hit the same mark as NEO in my opinion, which has allot less to show for its value.

I was looking to buy into waves but the more I read about and the more I follow it's price movement the more I wait. And so far I'm happy I waited since price have been goin only 1 way and it's down...
With upcomming btc fork it's not going to help with the price, so my prediction is that it will keep on continue falling but question is will it be able to recover from all this ??

Already such issues have been opened many times before. There is no doubt that Waves has a promising structure. Nevertheless, the price did not go up and I do not think that the price will rise.

I'm also an investor but I don't like this attitude some people made. Don't give people wrong impression.

It is pretty cool but Waves needs some solid ICOs to make it, Waves suffered from a lot of crappy ICOs. Also their DEX could be heavily improved upon.
But nonetheless its a coin that you should pick up on the dips as they often don't last very long and there's a clear trend in Waves rises and falls so its also easy trading.

In my opinion, it is an incredible coin with a great future through its development plan and the popularity it gains from day to day. Yes, the price drop is probably some sort of correction, nothing more. Waves is a good platform and I believe it will be supported a lot by newcomers on crypto market, because of how easy it is to make a token and start your own project with minimum initial investment as well as knowledge of programming. The platform does it all for you, so one just needs to have a good idea and a project to which it is related to be successful. Dev team is not of big importance here. |

Waves is really good I think. Some of waves assets have lost quite a lot though. Through the double correlation with BTC and WAVES itself and then FIAT, quite complicated trading

It is not a good coin, it has dropped a lot during the last few days, and there is no way that i can recover, a lot of people are trying to hype this coin because they think that this is one of the best ones that are listed on the market, but in fact, it is a bad coin only with a huge marketing inside, and this is why all those un-informed newbies are trying to hype it.
Dogecoin could be better than waves (and i am only joking) but this can be serious. because it has more movements than waves

I do think Waves is under valued and has great potential. But I don't like the fact that waves only runs on google chrome - I hate google. I have waves wallet on my iphone, but I refuse to down load google chrome. the iphone version is limited - very limited.

We're not talking if it's great or not. We're tryin to understand the price dynamics behinds waves because I believe tons of traders lost money due to waves's hard dump after 0.0012 BTC level. This means more than 100% loss. I don't think it can jump to this level before 2 years. |

Thanks a lot for this link, so useful, and I don't know how I missed it, since I've actually seen their medium blog! This is exactly what I mean everytime I say this platform is likeable because it doesn't like to hype. It doesn't publish everywhere or have big news outlets to publicise their news. But that's fine and perfect, let the community (us) do it so the price grows steadily. Maybe they only want to do marketing when they're ready to blow people's minds, right? Don't know about the rest of you, but I'm super fine to wait for that. |

Say what? It's not possible to lose more than 100%.
Someone losing 100% of his investment is possible if the altcoin an investor picked and hold lost it's value and dumped to 1 satoshi with a huge buywall. In waves case, you are right that its not possible for it's holder to lose 100% of his investment since it has retained it's value even if the price dropped big. Investors have lost a huge percent of their investment though even if waves still have value. Probably waves would pump soon after hardforks of bitcoin stop. |
