The Segwit2x fork has been a hype for past few months. Though the forks in between stole it's thunder it's still in the limelight.
This fork is not going to be the same as the last few forks and might be neea bit of attention. There are only two things one can do to prepare for the fork. Sell Bitcoins for fiat and buy back later or secure the bitcoins on a private wallet and then wait for the fork to finish completely without making any transactions. I will wait for a while and see what are the news going on and then decide later whether I should sell the coins to be on the safer side or have it in my wallet and hope to get the free coins.

Basically I'll be accumulating as much coins as I can from now until then through investing. Then just before you fork I'll be looking to offload a percentage of the coins and then get my free coins after the fork. Then I will see all the alt coins for profit.
Same as you I will try to buy more and more bitcoin till the end of the November, this is going to be the best month for the bitcoin. All the people who were thinking that the bitcoin has made the life easy and safe I will see the people who were not even listening to the bitcoin topic are now enjoying the age gossip with the bitcoin and now all the people are making the bitcoin more and more easy to use.
