I have a six rx570 mining rig currently.
Stock 1250/1750

I have them running in TRIXX @ 1325/2000/ -15%/ -120V

I was wondering if i would unvervolt them to -200V, if that would be to much for the cards to handle ...

RX 570's already use ~40 W less than 580's. I don't think you could undevolt -200 mV and it would be stable. I use -100 mV for my Powercolor Red Dragon RX 570's and it's stable except for one card that I can only undevolt to -50 mV or it will cause the driver to crash and Windows to hang.

I have mine at GPU 1050 MHz / 1000 mV, Memory 2000 / 1000 and that shaves about 100-150w in the power consumption for 6 cards.

Undervolting is definitely nothing that would somehow hurt graphics.

The only way that undervolting a card might hurt is if you set the undervolt so low the card just stops working, and CAN'T set it back higher.

Not an issue if you're using a tool like Afterburner, rarely an issue if you are doing a BIOS mod to change the card (many recent cards especially AMD have a "BIOS switch" on them that switches between 2 seperate BIOS).

I'm no longer legendary just in my own mind!

I have a BIOS switch so no worries.
I think i'll keep -120v. It's stable and i'm getting 1870-1880h/s out of them for ~870watts.
And i haven't had any shutdowns....

With one gpu i have to lower the core/mclock because i'm getting " GPU#4 is returningen incorrect data".
Other then that ....

If i would underclock the cards. Could i receive same hashrate with an even lower powerconsumption?

This is a trick question.  If your voltage is the bottleneck, then no.  If your memory and core clock speeds are set so that maximum highest clock speeds are stable, it may be possible to lower the voltage, but this is probably not the case.  You will have to test the settings yourself to see what works best.  I have some Nvidia cards that let you set temperature thresholds, and I have them set pretty low right now, so when a certain temp is reached it automatically lowers the speed of the card.  This is a great feature.

That is what undervolt does, less power consumption. Since you are talking about AMD RX cards, a Bios mod to any of them make them give you a higher hashrate and a lower power consumption, typical after a Bios mod for RX 570 is 90 watt at 29 Mhash, and for RX 580 is 90 watt at 30 Mhash.

I'm confident about it and believe that it will only make you suffered heavy losses. Because it is the power supply that you give is too minimal and will never give a good enough power for the readiness of your mining tool. If you want to get an advantage in the mining, then one main thing is to always add your mining tool at any time. Because it is the level of difficulty of mines will always go up and it requires a fairly high power.

I think i'll just let them do their thing, i'm to focused on achieving the optimal settings Smiley
The cards are bios mod, and i got an extra 10 h/s out of each card.

Don't fix if it aint broken sort of thing. I'm just relieved the -120 undervolt won't hurt my cards.

i think it's more likely that undervolting may increase card lifespan
