Blockchain for agriculture

Hello Community,

I am not really sure if this is the correct sub forum for this topic, however, please read through it and your suggestions/comments/criticism are welcome.

With the increased population and growth, agriculture industries are slowly getting back the importance they deserve in most of the countries.
The industry is gaining both the popularity and capital, however there is no serious talks of blockchain application on core agriculture.

Blockchain has huge potential in three key areas of the agriculture industry:

1. Provenance and radical transparency
2. Mobile payments, credits, and decreased transaction fees
3. Real-time management of supply chain transactions and financing

I wonder if there are any really good projects/devs/teams which can implement this idea.

I would love to be a part of such a project if existing/coming in near future.
