No way am I surprised.  It's bound to keep going up as it gets harder and harder to mine and obtain and more people start wanting it.

Not really because each time bitcoin is being accepted by the users around the world its price increase that only means that the adoption of bitcoin is really fast and its doing a good job by maintaining its price with a healthy movements of its price that always corrects after it reach a certain point that its too high we can see a lot of bitcoin price fluctuation in the following months to come believe me it will reach $10,000 in early 2018.
