Yes, the price of bitcoin surprised me. It is going up too fast, and it has tripled in price in a very short time, which is something that other investments cannot do. Its price has fluctuated too much.

Well just that it has been a while you open this threat but despite that am not surprise about the current market value of bitcoin. Before the end of December last year bitcoin really more higher but as at the time of this post it has really decline below $9,400 although there is believe that it will more higher before end of this year.

The bitcoin had a strong bull run last october but it is currently going through hardship at moment. The bitcoin price started falling since December last year and up date it is not fully recocered. Bitcoin price reached the highest level which was $20,000 in December 2017 and from that level the price started dropping since and yet the bitcoin is currently selling at about $9000 today.

Not at all. I expected that a dip will occur and I was ready to buy as it dipped. It's just moving the way a market does, you can't always be up and it can't always be down, prices will dip and correct at intervals and then prices will also go up. So I was not at all surprised by it.

Not surprised at all. Lots of trading the supports and lot of shorting going on. Big boys are playing the fear and FOMO of new players these days. Short term trend is down, but long term btc is up from the corrections lowest low.
I am bull as long as we don't get down to $8500 again, in that case we could go < $6000 again.

I was not surprised. Maybe surprised many people to see at a very low price. But I can see its good direction. But the price of bitcoin is not stable. We also know that the price increases. The reduction in the price will increase the number of new investors. Due to lowering prices new investor is attracted.

Yes, it was unexpected and i believe its value could rise again.
The reason is because more and more people are now getting familiar with cryptocurrency and they are now investing on it.
The sudden increase of its value is cause by the supply and demand. That is why the price is constantly changing.

Just to update, last week bitcoin did go low and then slowly rises up in value as of today. Most commented and blamed it ti Mt Gox for monopolizing or controlling the bitcoin value. I just don't know how true it was but they have various points though, that it could be the reason why they the price go up and goes down as well. We need experts opinion on this matter. Abybody?

I am surprised and happy to because more then an investment I see bitcoin like a regulations against tha actual monetary private system and a fair money system for all. so I am very happy to see every time more people getting interest. for example 2days ago I was at work and 2clients around 70 years old wear asking me about bitcoin they even asked  me how to but it and which exchange would be tha most easy for them to buy that makes me smile. tha only think that comes into my mind is that more and more people now are being interested in bitcoin.
people are more aware now about it maybe because of tha news and more about cryptocurrencies.tha best part is this appreciation is not hollow or done by any whale but a genuine growth due to actual demand. bitcoin can easily system this price. but a small correction is inevitable at this point.

Bitcoin can not surprise me I prepared for all outcomes. So many speculative attacks pumps and dumps following each other. This might create an opportunity to gain from it but it is risky as well.

I think people are already aware of the bitcoin price that it will surely increase so they must be aware of bitcoin price will increase, when I invest in bitcoin it was not very high but now it has improved a lot in price also it reached the level of most expensive currency and still increasing so for nothing is surprising but for the new people it could be a bit unique idea to increase your money within days only, I am very happy to see the present price of bitcoin, which is very high and still it is increase more and more.
