I am not surprised, because I am in to Bitcoins for the last few years and I know about the future potential of Bitcoin. I believe that even at these levels, BTC is under-priced. The user base is increasing by 10-15% every month, and there is a lot of interest regarding Bitcoin in the Wall Street. And it will not surprise me, if BTC breaks in to the $1 trillion market cap by 2020.

Yes, and not able to understand why the price is rising with no major trigger.
Actually many negative things are happening with bitcoin currency like proposed ban by many countries. Different people have different views on this rise.
Some are firm that due to lack of regulating authority black marketers and drug dealers are driving this cryptocurrency.
They look at this price rise as bubble.
Some are prediction more price rise due to high demand and limited supply.
Some experts says, intentional devaluation of the Yuan and banning of high currency notes compelled investors to send their money off shore in some secured tools.
These may be one of the reasons for price rise in bitcoin.
But its investors are happy & waiting for new high.

Yes, I am totally surprised but I am not happy. I cannot afford to buy bitcoins so I just invest in alternate cryptocurrencies. The value of tokens these days is not high enough to give me large profit. If only bitcoin's value will decrease, then token's value will increase.
When my rank gets higher, that's the time I will join signature campaigns that pay bitcoin. By that time I will be happy if bitcoin's value continues to increase.

yes indeed everyone is suprisrd no one expected it to rise so much in such a small time i expected it to be 6000$ by end of this year and that was also not sure. I hope it keeps giving us more suprises in the coming future so that we all can be more rich
I have somewhat different feeling about the last pump. Everyone was expecting the prices to fall again to a lower level because of the last fork. But to everyone's surprise the price has actually shoot up to the highest possible rate ever possible in history. I think that it was a wrong decision for you to sell your Bitcoins at such an important time but do not get worried about the situation and try to regain them back as soon! Wish you best of luck. |

Being surprise is an understatement, I was expecting 5000 by 2017 end but 7kusd am wowed. What's fueling the price is what I don't understand. But still it's a good thing. The canceled fork will make it retrace though.

I wouldn't be too sure about that. Bitcoin is and always has been a very risky investment. And the crypto market moves extremely quickly. There are a lot of things that could stunt the future growth of Bitcoin, so always be on the edge. You are right, but at the same time the odds bitcoin goes up in value are better than the odds it goes down in value in the next 10 years, I know previous performance does not guarantee future performances, but if we look at the past of bitcoin, we can see the extraordinary growth it had since the beginning and it seems this is only the beginning. |
