I have trouble running and compiling on ubuntu 16.04 Binaries available don't run as they miss some packages which cannot be installed (apt-get install refuses to do it) Compiling doesn't work either. The same machine has compiled quite a few other similar altcoins Here is the output from ./autogen, ./configure and make. Make does not complete Any help appreciated ./autogen root@MN1:~/Crowdcoin# ./autogen.sh libtoolize: putting auxiliary files in AC_CONFIG_AUX_DIR, 'build-aux'. libtoolize: copying file 'build-aux/ltmain.sh' libtoolize: putting macros in AC_CONFIG_MACRO_DIRS, 'build-aux/m4'. libtoolize: copying file 'build-aux/m4/libtool.m4' libtoolize: copying file 'build-aux/m4/ltoptions.m4' libtoolize: copying file 'build-aux/m4/ltsugar.m4' libtoolize: copying file 'build-aux/m4/ltversion.m4' libtoolize: copying file 'build-aux/m4/lt~obsolete.m4' configure.ac:10: installing 'build-aux/compile' configure.ac:5: installing 'build-aux/config.guess' configure.ac:5: installing 'build-aux/config.sub' configure.ac:9: installing 'build-aux/install-sh' configure.ac:9: installing 'build-aux/missing' Makefile.am: installing 'build-aux/depcomp' parallel-tests: installing 'build-aux/test-driver' libtoolize: putting auxiliary files in AC_CONFIG_AUX_DIR, 'build-aux'. libtoolize: copying file 'build-aux/ltmain.sh' libtoolize: putting macros in AC_CONFIG_MACRO_DIRS, 'build-aux/m4'. libtoolize: copying file 'build-aux/m4/libtool.m4' libtoolize: copying file 'build-aux/m4/ltoptions.m4' libtoolize: copying file 'build-aux/m4/ltsugar.m4' libtoolize: copying file 'build-aux/m4/ltversion.m4' libtoolize: copying file 'build-aux/m4/lt~obsolete.m4' configure.ac:45: installing 'build-aux/compile' configure.ac:45: installing 'build-aux/config.guess' configure.ac:45: installing 'build-aux/config.sub' configure.ac:28: installing 'build-aux/install-sh' configure.ac:28: installing 'build-aux/missing' Makefile.am: installing 'build-aux/depcomp' parallel-tests: installing 'build-aux/test-driver' libtoolize: putting auxiliary files in AC_CONFIG_AUX_DIR, 'build-aux'. libtoolize: copying file 'build-aux/ltmain.sh' libtoolize: putting macros in AC_CONFIG_MACRO_DIRS, 'build-aux/m4'. libtoolize: copying file 'build-aux/m4/libtool.m4' libtoolize: copying file 'build-aux/m4/ltoptions.m4' libtoolize: copying file 'build-aux/m4/ltsugar.m4' libtoolize: copying file 'build-aux/m4/ltversion.m4' libtoolize: copying file 'build-aux/m4/lt~obsolete.m4' configure.ac:64: installing 'build-aux/compile' configure.ac:15: installing 'build-aux/config.guess' configure.ac:15: installing 'build-aux/config.sub' configure.ac:25: installing 'build-aux/install-sh' configure.ac:25: installing 'build-aux/missing' Makefile.am:5: warning: user variable 'GZIP_ENV' defined here ... /usr/share/automake-1.15/am/distdir.am: ... overrides Automake variable 'GZIP_ENV' defined here Makefile.am:58: warning: user target 'distcleancheck' defined here ... /usr/share/automake-1.15/am/distdir.am: ... overrides Automake target 'distcleancheck' defined here src/Makefile.am: installing 'build-aux/depcomp' src/Makefile.am:516: warning: user target '.mm.o' defined here ... /usr/share/automake-1.15/am/depend2.am: ... overrides Automake target '.mm.o' defined here parallel-tests: installing 'build-aux/test-driver' root@MN1:~/Crowdcoin#

Better use the linux base it is cheaper VPS and more reliable, and you don't have any downtime from Masternode because of regular annoying windows update

UPDATE
During the coming week we'll start a public discussion starting from the draft we have prepared, feedbacks are welcome during this week as well will sign the contract to be incorporated in Gibraltar.... on next Sat 3 Feb 3 pm london time we are going to have a TWO masternode auction (starting bid 3 btc) , those funds will be used to pay for the coinexchange.io listing and for the incorporation. Thank you guys for your patience and... do not forget that Crowdcoin it's you, it's me., it's all of us!

Starting bid seems a little high right now, maybe 2BTC starting price is more reasonable, but lets see how the market reacts till feb 3, gl dev.

Well he did say it was a TWO masternode auction, so it comes at 1.5 btc per node. Given current prices its OK, though it fell a little today. Let's hope it recovers to over 150k sat or there will be no bids

CrowdCoin was added to CryptoAlly.net mining pool. No registration is required. Use your wallet address as the username and c=CRC for password. -o stratum+tcp://eu1.cryptoally.net:4233 -u <YOUR_WALLET_ADDRESS> -p c=CRC Happy Mining.
