VINchain Making Waves Across the UKDear VINchain community,
We’re one step further in our expansion and quest to bring VINchain to Europe by way of the United Kingdom. We have some thrilling updates to share about our growth in Edinburgh, London and beyond. We’ve devoted ourselves to examining the ecosystem and opportunities of the region and have met with valuable investors to secure mentorship and funding.
We had the pleasure of visiting the University of Edinburgh Incubation Programs, where we spoke about blockchain technology, our approach to data collection and about what it means to innovate.
Next, we were able to get acquainted with Codebase, who help spread ideas among like-minded startups, learning specificities across the industry.
We enjoyed a session at Galvanise Capital which outlined how to structure and conduct business in Scotland, and also met with lawyers and venture capital investors.
Met at Scottish Enterprise Session with ecosystem players and visited SkyScanner - a leading global travel search site which allows businesses to learn how to increase positive communications with clients.
We were able to secure a productive session at Google, paving the way for some incredible future growth - we’ll be able to share more details at a later date!
Another session was held with FieldFisher, a European law firm with market-leading practices across many of the world's most dynamic sectors.
We were able to secure a workshop with Mike Butcher, an 'Editor at Large' of TechCrunch, the largest breaking-news site covering the world’s hottest tech companies.
Visited EBRD to learn how the huge corporation do their business.
One of the most surprising events was with Pitch@Palace. The Duke of York founded Pitch@Palace in 2014 to provide a platform to amplify and accelerate the work of entrepreneurs and provide opportunities to interface with people who can help make their business dreams a reality at St. James’s Palace. This brought unique chance to make a small pitch to the prestigious guests of the event and evangelize VINchain’s vision.
Techstars is well known across the startup world as a premier worldwide network helping entrepreneurs succeed. We had the great pleasure of attending their Startup Bootcamp, which provides guidance on how to be accepted into the best accelerators and competitions. We wrapped up the day with an excursion to the Facebook office.
Pitching at UK Belarus Startup Roadshow / Pitch Night was a great opportunity to wide a range of contacts one more time and make sure there is some niche for the VINchain in UK.
We’ve been pushing our idea to different communities, gaining some useful contacts and plenty of experience.
We’re elated that our passion to evolve the automotive industry and now we are focused on our development in Europe and Great Britain. We make sure that the UK market can offer us some great opportunities and in terms of our recent experience are now continuing the development in all directions.
