You are right. BTC is too complicated ( Blockchain, mining, altcoins, markets, airdrops, wallets, pools...etc) Simple is the best.

i think if you are only learn about mining, altcoin, markets, wallets its enough because this is what we do in crypto currency. with this things, we don't have to learn too deep about bitcoin and crypto currency because it will need to spend more time to read from many source. just learn what we want and keep practicing and if we still have a time to learn then we can spend our time to learn more that we want to know and i think it is not too complicated.

Once people understand the concept of bitcoin and how it can be stored in wallet and bought/sold on exchanges it is very simple to use btc for services. I think the initial roadblock for many people is to enter into bitcoin using FIAT currency, as the only way to buy bitcoin in some countries is to buy it from a local exchange which charges premium for the services. But once you enter into Bitcoin world, there are several options to buy/sell btc using the crypto currencies.

"When you use Bank or Online banking, If you have any problem, you can actually go to branch or call the customer service fix the problem, Bitcoin have no phone number, no branch, no one to contact if anything goes wrong. "
Once I used my friend's account number to sent money to my online wallet, 2 days the money still stuck on that wallet and pending and no notificatios, I sent ticket via email with prove of bank transfer, which need two days 'till they replied, and you know what they say? Sorry you must transfered money from your real account number, to avoid moneylaundring? what the heck, the amount is below $50 and the btc rate was going up so fast, so I only have little amount of bitcoin ( what a bad day) . thats why I agree with you it's complicated for average people.

Well, I think it is indeed too much complicated and harder to use, you have to have knowledge about how it works on internet. You have to make an account, buy bitcoin from different sites ( which takes 5% to 7% Fees) then transfer to exchanges for trading or to use.
How can a normal people, who usually watch youtube video, use fb or other social media, you expect him/her to know all these things? I seen people give up easily, and think it's too techy.
I believe if Bitcoin sell coins on their official website, with lower fees, such as 1% to 2%, and make a simple wallet for people to use, more & more people would buy and use it. What is your opinion on it? discuss..
When you use Bank or Online banking, If you have any problem, you can actually go to branch or call the customer service fix the problem, Bitcoin have no phone number, no branch, no one to contact if anything goes wrong.
The desktop wallet are too complicated to use, it has some weird functionality, such as MEW, every time you login, you have to use key chain, or a file as your private key and password, when you get a get it doesn't not show on your account, you actually have to add custom, which is really confusing sometimes. And i always hear people ger hacked, their balanced is gone. which is really scary after all these security in your wallet? strange!
Bitcoin does not have their own official site, so lots of people visit other junk/spam/hacking site, think it is bitcoin site and can get help.
It's really hard to buy bitcoin in certain country, such as Canada. Yes i know you can buy from coin base, but they do not allow more than $100 bitcoin per week, and we are not allowed to sell. Lots of people other thread offered local bitcoin, but when bitcoin price is $6800, they sell it on $7800, That's $1000 extra plus 5% fees of the amount. Why people have to pay that much money extra to buy bitcoin? why don't they have an official site, where you can buy in current price?
Why most of the exchange does not allow you to buy bitcoin with USD? 99% time you have to transfer money to exchange to do trading or to buy alt coin, which is really a headache. So you tell me, all these problem, why would a normal average people, who doesn't have enough time will invest bitcoin or any other coin? This is rea reason i believe we see the market cap in crypto currency under $200 billion. If it was easy to use, for normal people it would have jump to Trillion dollar.
I somewhat agree with this, as a non techy individual like me at first I experienced serious difficulties understanding bitcoin and how it functions yet in the end I learned by perusing and seeking about it. To pick up something confounded, we need persistence and determination. It's truly justified, despite all the trouble to learn bitcoin in light of the fact that I'm appreciating the advantages I'm getting from it. I also think that most people can get a grudge of it in no time.

ya Bitcoin is pretty complex concept at first. Even for me taking computer subject in high school when i discovered about Bitcoin had a hard time understanding it. But with time and getting involved with it help me be familiar with. But it is still hard for me to explain it to an average people did not take computer as a subject in there school. that's a challenge !!! and I am sure the explantion about the money from banks is even more complex because they create it out of thin air. The mcafee guy said it is much harder to explain how the Federal Reserve Bank work compared to Blockchain system.
how is it a difficult concept? maybe to understand the inner workings, sure, but to use it? it's a fairly straightforward thing in my opinion, no different from using paypal. using paypal as an example, let's compare. with paypal, an online payment processor / method that is accepted by many retailers online, we have an account tied to our identities that we can use to pay for goods. with bitcoin, we have a (preferably) encrypted wallet, which we can access when needed to pay for goods for merchants that accept bitcoin as a payment method. in both cases, if we have our login info or wallet and encryption passphrase compromised, we run the risk of having our bank account (or paypal balance) or our private addresses emptied. the only real difference i see here is that paypal payments are reversible, and are more or less insured if the account were to be compromised. however, theyre not that different if you strip it down to the basics. we have money and we send it to a recipient. doesn't get much simpler as far as general use goes. not sure how it's so daunting for the average person to understand that and use it.

Well if you look at the terminologies being used, like cryptocurrency, blockchain etc, anyone who's not aware would really think its complicated and would probably lose interest at the onset. Though with actual use, it won't take a lot of time before even a simple person to get it

Well we are on a modern time today, when technologies are growing too fast. It develops as a speed of light. Others can't feel it because they don't focus on here bitcoin. For me as one of the "average people" I still know what bitcoin is. Everyone can do bitcoin even though you have money or not.

If we try to tell about BitCoin's nature, math or technology to people, it is complicated for average people. We should define it like as commodity, gold etc instead of telling atomic structure of it.

The most important reason why bitcoin is hard to circulate now is intuitive, because it doesn't have intuitive currency, coins, and so on. Just a data. So it needs to be developed so that more people will know it and use it.

Correct. But every new thing is actually difficult just at start. Older and conservative people might not really interested in utilizing bitcoin but once they know the advantages most of them will try to learn and understand it. Our younger generation which is now more inclined to fast technology developments have no problem with future bitcoinization.

The basic concept can be plainer easily in a few words and it would be quite easy. Obviously, if you go into the technical details, it is quite a complex technology which only experts can decipher. Average people might be just happy with the simple details as they might not care about what runs behind the scenes.

It only becomes complicated if you make it that way. Bitcoin is so simple for me, just some readings and you will understand how it works. So just make it simple and you will be find. Of course there's that technical aspects of bitcoin but leave it to the pro. And if you have serious doubts then you can always asked from our community. All experts regarding bitcoins are here, you don't need to be shy to asked noob questions.

I would say yes for a first timer who have zero knowledge about it. There are a lot of guides and tutorials on the net, you just simply follow the instructions and while doing it you just need to absorb and understand those things. That will be a part of the learning process I guess.

I don't think bitcoin is "too complicated". Bitcoin is just a bit complicated for the people who merely knows anything about bitcoin . It depends on the type of services we are induldged in using bitcoin . If someone is doing trading and mining without its knowledge then obviously it would be very difficult to use bitcoin in that case . One must start from the basic level instead of jumping to extremes. And the other thing about wallets is that I really dont think using wallets is complicated . They provide appropriate guidelines to use it.

Bitcoin is not complicated if people have the minimum of education and know how to navigate and using Internet connection. They can create their wallets and start buying and trading BTC easily. It was a bit harder even for us in the first days but it become a lot simpler with days.

In my view Bitcoin is not for Average Peoples. Because this currency can not be used directly in market. Buying, selling, holding in wallet is no simple. Huge commission and difference of price need to pay to exchang by when buying and selling Bitcoin. This currency is good for traders, big investors. During last one month Bitcoin jump $5000 to $7000.

I would have to agree although its gotten easier since the start of bitcoin with more people using it more documentation has come out but its still not very easy to access and until then we aren't going to see it in the mainstream.
