Het Guys,

I am thinking about making a simple platform where I give the community a chance to name and shame cryptoscams. I want to give people the opportunity to write eleborate stories on how these schemes were structured and if possible the identities of the people who scammed.

It will be moderated so to say that only truly clear and understandable stories about scams will be published. I myself have been involved in crypto for about 5 years now and luckily I was not the victim of many scams myself, but I did experience them from close.

I think it is very important to document these stories, because people tend to completely forget and that would be a shame.

Here are a couple of scams I know of:

- 2016 | Hacker Gold (HKG) : These guys collected a couple of thousand of ETH in their ICO.

- 2015 | API-coin (API) : This project was promoted by David A. Johnston who is now Chairman of the Board at Factom.

- 2014 | Digital Commerce (DCM) : These guys collected a few thousand Bitcoin trough an ICO that was facilitated by Bittrex.

So my questions to you guys:

1. You guys think there is a demand for such a platform?

2. You guys have examples of clear scams where devs ran of with the money, if so could you answer the following questions:
- What is the story in max 500 words?
- Do you have a link to the BTC-talk thread?
- Do you know who the founders were?
- How much money they ran of with? What's the value at todays rate?

If I develope the platform I'd like to start off with publishing some of the biggest scams. I hope that the plaform can become popular and through advertisement money I can afford people to pay for their research and stories.

Thanks for reading, I look forward to your replies.

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Very good idea. But what you need to be aware of is that you may be retaliated by these people and this is quite dangerous if you know your real personal information. Put aside these words, I think such a website, there are bound to be many advertisers to find you negotiate, including a variety of ICO project side. If there is an ICO ad in your advertising section of your website that turns out to be a liar, I think you know what that means.
