Bitmain Refund for BTC orders

Hi,

I had placed multiple orders on Bitmain with BTC and LTC as payment method. Now being an Indian customer Customs are not allwing import of Miners. I had been offered refund oppertunity and i have accepted refund. But i have not got clarity from them regarding refund amount despite my repeated query.

I would like to know if we get same BTC and LTC amount that we paid while placing order as the BTC value has almost doubled from then.

Kindly shed some knowledge

They'll most likely refund the price you paid, not the amount of currency you paid.

I am in the same boat as you jatin....ordered 2 D3 and 2 PSU from bitmain back in august for the November batch but they sent me the same email and I opted for a refund....still raising tickets everyday now but it has been of no use till now.
I don't know when they will process the refund and I don't even know if I ll get my money back or not
Someone have any suggestions then please reply.

Also just to clarify I ll get the money in BTC is it as I paid in BTC.
For example if I paid 1BTC then they will give 1BTC back is it ?

no this is not true, I have paid in btc before he stopped and the price went up before I had to cancel, I got the FIAT about back in btc (lower amount in btc)  NOT the btc I paid in.

I dont know how you got trust score of 40.
A lot of us got our refunds from Bitmain.
The same amount we had paid be it BTC, LTC or USD.

Don't be so harsh on Squall. He is probably following a general rule of thumb here. From my experience, I can tell you that refunds processed directly in BTC or LTC (crypto in general) are kinda rare.
I purchased some items with Bitcoin and every time when my item couldn't be delivered (for example it was out of stock) I received the amount of money in USD/EUR.
It is certainly surprising that Bitcoin is issuing 1:1 Bitcoin refunds for their miners.
