Hong Kong is entering a critical juncture in the Occupy Movement this year. We face suppression from authoritarian China. Social inequality is at its worst.  We will have large-scale protests to fight for democracy and justice.  Support us!

wow another scammer going for the bitcoin grab scheme using a far away news item as the ploy to be the centralised middleman that takes a large cut.

hong kong is not a poor country, their unemployment rate is lower then most western countries. this is no "helping the poor" scheme.

if you truly want to help. get hong kong DIY stores to accept bitcoin so that people can buy wood to make their placards. get print design businesses to accept bitcoin so that they can print banners.

get businesses that these protesters need to do their protesting to put a bitcoin address on their website and we will then.. maybe donate to support the cause.

.. oh wait let me guess.. you dont live near the protest area's.. then you being project manager is useless

now to show your failings
1. you have not shown proof of who you are, you just posted simple links anyone can find
2. you are addressing the english speaking population.. try learning the chinese and making a campaign to get chinese people to donate
3. you failed to realise begging without proof gets you no where.
4. you have not shown what the funds would buy, how it would be distributed...

i have unshamefully exposed soo many scammers that it is starting to become a numbing feeling. and as such i dont hide away behind the shroud of 'being pleasant to everyone' when it comes to extortionists

and please dont reply with a rebuttle and excuses. only reply with links to PROOF that its worth donating to

I DO NOT TRADE OR ACT AS ESCROW ON THIS FORUM EVER.
Please do your own research & respect what is written here as both opinion & information gleaned from experience. many people replying with insults but no on-topic content substance, automatically are 'facepalmed' and yawned at

Interesting I see these fake donation bitcoin grabs everywhere in various languages on many forums, seems to me its the same group of people.

Evrytime of course there is some idiot or idiots who end up donating, over months these ppl collect maybe 50 btc or more. That's amazing free money.

50 BTC? That would allow us to hire 40 campaign staff for 1 month, or about 6 staff for half a year. That would go a long way for our campaign. We can only dream of that.

Ha! If you know those groups of scammers, please introduce them to us. We'd like to learn their skills.

Hong Kong is a rich place doesn't mean that everyone is equally rich. The money is in the hand of finance and property tycoons.

lol andreas has stated the actual person that would receive the funds, and how.

this OP is some anonymous extorter that is not vietnamese (great google translating though) that has no rep, no history. and cant even show who he is to be slapped with a wet fish when steeling the funds.

everyone knows andreas and if he did extort people, a court case would soon ensue.. same cant be said for this OP

a great example of the kind of charities we should support is where there is a clear indication of who is receiving the fnds, who will benefit from them and how it will be spent/distributed.

the OP probably wants the funds to buy his plane ticket and hotel/foodbills for a week so he can go to hong kong. as that would be classed as funding the occupy movement. but it does not meaan it will help any objectives get met or help other people getting arrested or anything that actually goes on over there.

a prime example of a good charity is seans outpost. clear message of who needs the help (homeless) how they will be helped (food and a forest to set up their tents) and clear information on the middle man (the guy that makes the sandwiches and purchased the forest) he has even shown proof of the land purchase aswell as video's of food donations, and the homeless living on the land. many interviews showing him in public.

Not saying whether this is fund-raising is legitimate or not, but

hong kong is not a poor country

Hong Kong is not a country(yet), but it is good to know that people think Hong Kong already is.

This is Traditional Chinese. I know, cos I can read it and I can't read Vietnamese. I am not saying it is not Google translated.

Did you find my posts helpful? Did I say say something nice? Your generosity is much appreciate.

I think Hong Kong already has enough people occupying it, most cities arent that rich so why are they asking for more :p

Just like the NYC occupy, they have no idea how lucky they are to be poor in the worlds richest country

Andreas is a well-known member in the bitcoin world who has far more to lose from scamming than he has to gain; IOW he has a healthy reputation to protect.  The OP is a faceless, nameless, brand-spanking new account whose very first post is to ask for money with nothing to lose and only your donations to gain.

It's kind of a big difference.

Ha! If you know those groups of scammers, please introduce them to us. We'd like to learn their skills.

I'm sure you can learn better scamming skills later.

But please don't scam innocent users here.

We already have enough scammers in this forum, so no more scammers here please.
