I think myetherwallet for now is not secure because so many people lose token and eth, because people are not responsible for theft by means of brute force.

Hello guys , I would like to ask this from more veteran people here if MEW or shall we say myetherwallet.com is safe or not..?
Some of my colleagues said that myetherwallet is not safe because there maybe some intruders with wide and depeest knowledge
When it comes to security bypass could get access of your account at myetherwallet? Please
Help me answer this if mew is safe or not.. Is this a user fault to expose their private key or there is.someone could really

Currently, if you store cryptos on e-wallets, you will not be able to secure them. The best thing to do if you want to use Myetherwallet is to use a cold wallet like Trezor to associate with Myetherwallet to store cryptos. Move to e-wallet when you need to trading to avoid hackers take control of e-wallet. |

In my opinion, this is a safe wallet. But on the forum there were topics that crypto-currencies were stolen. This is due to the negligence of the owners of the wallet. One of the mistakes (an example from one bounty campaign), when the field for the purse address was filled with a key.
If you know how to use them correctly it is quite safe, it does not recommend to store the keys on your computer and have a hardware wallet |

Never encountered any problem on myethewallet, i assure that it is one of safest wallet in crypto world.
Its up to do users how they manage there private keys and if they are aware on phishing attacks.

I never experienced any problems with myetherwallet too. It's one of the safest wallet if you know how to keep your private keys, your JSON wallet file or any other method of accessing your wallet. if they are aware on phishing attacks.
This is why others are becoming a victim and why are doubtful with myetherwallet, its because they never check the URL of the website they are visiting. And they are lazy even just for checking if its the real MEW address. |

Very safe actually. Don't believe those rumors.
The only thing is that there are so many phishing sites. So, to be extra safe with that, just download a copy on your PC and you're good to go!

Yes or maybe no  . If you keep your private key and your wallet backup file safe enough I think MEW is safe. But if you keep your wallet private key on online source like email or something like that I think it's really risky and you'll lose all your token and ETH when anyone can hack your email and steal your wallet private key. Otherwise you should be careful when you log into your MEW wallet cause there are a lot of fake MEW websites with almost the same website address. |

In terms of altcoins wallet, myether is much safe compared to others, moreover thru help of this wallet more users are not scared to invest in the other altcoins like ethereum. Because they trust that their investment is safe in this wallet. |

MEW is very safe to use
I also recommend you to use MetaMask to access your ETH or Token, because with MetaMask you do not have to copy and paste your private key,
you just need to connect MetaMask and MEW when you want to send a token
|

Honestly, I think it's secure, myetherwallet developers don't have access to your private keys, which means everyone must control and secure their keys. I haven't ever heard myetherwallet got hacked, just some people who lost their private keys and claim it has been hacked. Even most web wallets for bitcoin seems can not be hacked, unless you are reckless and the private keys could be accessed by the thief. The same theory for myetherwallet, electrum, blockchain, it's safe.

Myetherwallet is safe, almost secured but due to some mistakes made by thier users they were blame if the users coins was stolen. Well if the users are aware of hacking and phising hacking may not happen.

Agree. We can see how MEW put efforts just to make sure our accounts are safe. Avoiding getting hacked should be the first thing to learn for people who wants to enter cryptocurrency. Checking it's link is the first step to avoid phishing. |

MEW is a legit wallet and those friends of yours are not the only that lost their balance to MEW but if you'll google "MEW Hacked" same problems will come out. They have clicked phishing links and they put their private keys that directly goes to the database of the hackers and will login to their funds. While them not aware that they are fooled by a fake website, they didn't noticed that their funds were already stolen. |

correct. Make sure you always check the address url bar whenever you access myetherwallet and also check if the site has an https and certificate so that you are sure that you are accesing the correct site and not the cloned ones or phised site because mew is verry popular in terms of phising and hacking to the fact that many people are using it because mew is indeed the best wallet to use when dealing on altcoins or erc20 bases coins and tokens. |

Yes, i have saved the token ERC20 on myetherwallet too, there are no problem be found on there about the losing of token on myetherwallet is the mistake of the users them selves, they are careless when accessed myetherwallet. Should the are more carefull when access myetherwallet website, unfortunately many people did not knew about it so they just blamed myetherwallet because their mistakes. |
