Why should someone be forced to do anything they do not want to?

It is his choice, fish or die. Leave him to his own choices.

First seastead company actually selling sea homes: Ocean Builders https://ocean.builders  Of course we accept bitcoin.

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

In both cases it's their choice.

- Don't learn to fish and starve.

- Stay on the island and die.

People have a right to end their life if they chose too.  It's a no brainer imho.

It is a no brainer to many, but you would be surprised how many will quickly give up their own liberties because of things like fear. Or rather think it's ok to force people into making the same failing decisions they made themselves because they fear admitting their own failure.

It's a classic statist's appeal to utilitarianism. Utilitarianism is used to justify fascism and general totalitarianism.

Utilitarianism is only useful for determining how to apply principles. It's not a replacement for them.

No offense, but you're stupid.

I'm afraid your tone still came off as offensive anyway. 'This idea is stupid' would of worked better.

I have no control over other people's reactions.  Especially the reactions of stupid people.
