Cheesy I don't think bitcoin will be banned by my country cause our government is already very much concetraed about online marketing and digital marketing &they know very well that they got high fees from digital currencies and it also improved our economy  &  solving unemployeement problems Smiley

I would really be surprised when it happens, and then it will be very sad. But I will not stop, I'm still working and exchanging bitcoin with people in other countries, I will not give up bitcoin.

Forbidding my country can do whatever it wants, another question is how it will come about in practice. The state will not be able to learn from every citizen his password and private key from his wallet with crypto-currencies. Cheesy

I doubt it will happen here as Europe is way ahead of the curve where it comes to Bitcoin technology. Worse case scenario we move to another country if possible. I do not now what else I would do if it was banned in my country of residence. I wonder if anyone has any other suggestions? I could buy a passport to go to Liberland but it costs 10k Euros I think which I do not have spare at the moment.  Grin Grin
If that happen i will still use it but in a discreet way, because it is hard to fight against the law. But since bitcoin is become known in my country, i think they will never banned it because little by little they know well what bitcoin is and they know it can helps to reduce jobless people.

Business as usual. I bought bitcoin for a long term investment so I cannot care less. The government can only banned the use of bitcoin in physical businesses and not the online transaction itself. So I can still trade if I want to. But still I hope those other countries will stop banning bitcoin because it is really a good help for people like me.

I guess that leaves me no choice to buy bitcoin outside my country they are just making a ban to regulate the bitcoin for them to track it and benefit from it so the control is still in their hands

Still buying from outside but you will be getting finally delivered in your country which is also banned. So ideally you would be doing it the illegal way as it would not make anything chance whether you buy within or outside your country till the time you are within your own country which has banned the things.

it's human rights to have something or hold something like bitcoin , they have no rights to do it unless for the important reasons which still i can't figure out what's could make it as a correct action to ban bitcoin. it's just gonna be a bad move. really a blunder in my eye. people would against that ridiculous policy and i won't surprised with that.

Banning Bitcoin is better than considering it as nothing (like it is happening now). Which classifies us one from the coutries who are not updated to the new economy system (crypto).
Because having an idea on what is going on in the whole world can help you a lot to decide to ban or to legalize.
After the revolution our economy is distroyed so we need crypto to open new job opportunities and to boost the economy.

I would just probably leave it in my wallet because i don't want to get in trouble. So i will just pretend that i have never heard and used it, but i will only do that if they arrest people using it.

Leaving it in my wallet is maybe better because I am planning to hold my bitcoins for a few years so this would actually not affect me I am not planning to sell it now but later on.

if the state forbids bitcoin i will probably keep my bitcoin and if possible i will go to another country that receives bitcoin and do business there. because so far bitcoin has provided a very useful business opportunity for me.

I might look for some new trends and new industries related to technology, it will be hard for me to accept if our government ban the bitcoin and other coins since our president right now is the one I personally voted, it so hard to think that your president do not want or stop you from getting good profits Sad
well all said and done if that is going to happen only one thing is for sure and that is to move forward Smiley

He doesn't want to stop you from getting good profit, he wants to stop you from doing it without being monitored and getting it taxed.

I guess the titles says it all. What will you do if that happens?

Currently in my country until 2018 will prohibit bitcoin trading. Violation will result in criminal convictions. I don't care because there are many ways to circumvent the law. Instead of direct trading, I will do it through intermediaries. I still hope that BTC is the future of monetary, financial, because it is very convenient and sàe for trading.

Relax and enjoy. Although in the country banned Bitcoin, does not mean I can not access Bitcoin. Because of the many ways cash out Bitcoin into my country's currency. So, we also have to play smart with what we have.

I hope it will not happen in the country where I live. but if that happens then I will secure my btc, and if there is a chance for transactions elsewhere, I will use to gain profit.

This is one thing I am trying to avoid thinking but to no avail.  Grin Uhm, let us just say that we will cross the bridge when we get there. How about that? Is it good enough for an answer?  Wink Well, actually I don't have it as a big problem really. I would just have to sacrifice some amount of money and time and effort to go to another country in order for me to make use of my Bitcoins. It is not going to be a hassle. I would become a Bitcoin tourist.  Wink

It is not the end of everything if my country bans Bitcoin for good. There will always be a way to earn it at keep in a bitcoin wallet that is outside in my country. I'll just keep it there until such time that i am going to cash it out in any of money remittance on that country. So probably, i'll choose the country that's near to my country so i could only spend less for travel expenses.
After all, my country could not really stop crypto currency. Not unless if they shut down the internet of the entire nation.
