It has a big chance, if bitcoin passes $8k by this month theres no doubt bitcoin will make it through $10,000 by december. New year, new era of bitcoin ,and new ATH.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

well just like what yours I'm also thinking that the price would reach $1000 in 2018 mid of the month of january just like what happen last january 2017 the price of btc suddenly burst and goes bubble that time. so It's possible that the price could reach the $10000 barrier.

Wow 10k dollars in the new year is good because if that happen that's the good sign the year of 2018 will be good also to bitcoin.
As of now the price of bitcoin is already 7700 dollars and anytime we see 8k dollads and maybe 9k dollars next week and possie become 10k dollars the month of december or new year or january. I hope all my prediction will happen.

The prediction of your's looking like gonna happen because im checking the bitcoin price everyday its keeps increasing $ 300 or more everyday if it continues to rise at this rate then the new year will be $ 10k for bitcoin. |

Are, you seious ?  Bitcoin price $10.000 = 1BTC, it cannot happen soon enough I think. I think you wanted to say $10,000 but accidentally wrote $10.000. Your one point can chnge the direction of the question. And I simply don't understand how people above me have answered the question for 10k USD when the newbie asked for only 10 USD, quite astonishing here. |

Nope. Because 10000 its too much I down t belyeve it can be 10000 that fast. I thiynk it wiil be lower than 10000 becouse 10000 is two high price. Will take 100 years minimum to reach 8000.

What will be a bitcoin rate by new year?
If this sudden increase is actually due to new people entering this world of bitcoin then we might see $10000 by end of this year. But if l this is just due to the upcoming fork then a massive dumping is coming. We might see a major price correction through this dumping. |

It's not impossible to think.Because We have seen that bitcoin going on almost $8000.So i think when come new year then bitcoin will pump and touch $10,000.I think it's a really great achievement on Bitcoin's behalf.

$10.000 = 1BTC on New Year If this topic will right then I get many profits.Because at this moment i hold my Bitcoin in my coinbase wallet.It is not impossible to do for bitcoin.We see that bitcoin rate was the first 2017 only $900 or something.But now bitcoin rate is going on $7000+ .So Everything is possible for Bitcoin. |

It is possible, we could reach the $10,000 mark. Seeing how the price of bitcoin is going. But it is still too soon to predict those kinds of things. There are still many things that could happen along the way that could change the price of bitcoin or trigger another dump but if this goes on, I'm predicting we will reach $9000 mark before the new year.

Definitely possible we hit $10k. Will probably start breaking new ATHs and pass $8k around the end of November. Will definitely at least take a run at $10k before the end of the year. Although it's possible it won't have enough support to break $10k and might bounce off it and crash and then not break $10k until late January. On the other hand people could be so excited about $10k it might break through $10k in December and immediately pump to $11k within a few hours after $10k (at which point it'd probably be ready for a crash).
I'd give about 50/50 odds of hitting $10k this year, but about 90/10 odds of getting to at least $9500 this year.

Given the fork cancellation and the ever present scalability problems with bitcoin I don't think we will see bitcoin over $7500 before the end of the year. Still a great year for bitcoin and 10k will surely happen in 2018.

it now seems to be impossible. The fork was cancelled and the cryptomarket fell including Bitcoin. It's market value is now 6300$ from a value of 7400$. And now that the fork is gone, the factor that will make the value of Bitcoin more expensive before this year end is also gone. We just need to hope that something will happen in favor to Bitcoin before this year end. |

thats it, the upcoming fork/split that said will occur this december , will result again for bitcoins value to pump because people will buy and hold more to think that they can aquire free fork coins again just like happened to past forks and segwits. thats why i believe bitcoins value can possibly sky rocket until 10000$ dollars by the end of 2017. |
