We've all read that story in the school with the moral "Greed is a Curse".
So what if too much greed in bitcoin may backfire? What if, the hodlers end up with nothing?
everyone of us has unique thinking and its up on us what we are do in our bitcoin. for me holding of bitcoin is not greedy actually its one of the effective strategy to have an earnings but sometimes it comes to regret because your expecting or assume that the price next will rise up again but in opposite the price will become down. its only natural for us to hold an bitcoin the true greedy its like an hacker

It is true that being greedy is a curse and it is one of the deadly sins.  But we cannot say that if you are holding or hoarding or keeping your bitcoins means that you are greedy.  For me it is just you being into reality and just being smart considering that bitcoin price right now is really high.  So if we keep our bitcoins then it means that we will have something to be assured of, we have money.  And money is the reason why we are all working hard, to get what we want and to help our families.  It is like just saving your money but the difference is its price changes and can make us rich.

I dont think holding  bitcoin will be considered being greedy. Being greedy is something that you hold because you want more, you dont want others to be ahead of you. If you hold because you have a plan in the first place then that is not greedy, that is just being smart and sticking out to your plan. As they always say, if it looks stupid but it works then that is nit stupid. There is a golden rule in trading. Plan your trade, trade your plan. This takes discipline and patience to succeed in this path. If some factors like greed or emotions hinder your plan, and you let it overcome you then there is no way you can go but to only lose your money.

In my opinion, holding bitcoin is not a greedy move because for me its an investment for short/long term. People hold bitcoins because they see potential and some using it for trading alt coin to maximize their volume. Its just a matter of strategy of how you spend your bitcoin to gain profit.

I don't think so holding Bitcoin is a safer way than trading and doesn't require any knowledge about markets and that's the reason why I hold Bitcoin but trade in alt coins.

Holding bitcoin is like an investment strategy. No ibvestment strategy can be defined as greedy.

For me its not being greedy but you just want to hodl because you want it to play safe. Of course everyone wants to make money and the safest way is to just hold on your bitcoin. There is nothing wrong with that. And I think you can dump a few coins of your coin if you really want to take some profits, so the option is always there. Being greedy is only applicable in gambling because you already won and you don't want to stop and hoping for win for more.

No it's not greedy, it's up to person himself how long he want to hold the coin until it reach the value he desire/set and it's not wrong. Different people have different target and strategies, some people want to go long for several years while the others only set a few months. If you also have to set stop limit so you won't end up holding too long until the coin lose it's value.

Holding Bitcoin is not greedy.
It is a form of investment.
As long as you don't get bitcoin from scamming others, I think you are not greedy.
You are just believing that bitcoin is a good investment and preparing for your future.

i don't think this is a greedy behavior because some of people want to hold it until another folk coming
and some people is a true fans in bitcoin ,
Holding was not a greedy behavior. People hold because they want to get more profit and they believe that it will be worth it in the end as what we see in the change of its value every seconds. Holding is a form of investment were people get more money from it as the value of it continue increasing. Holding also was a strategy of a person on how he/she will handle his/her bitcoin.

Why would anyone say this greedy , I mean it's just smart of you that you hold your coins and wait for the best value to achieve ( for example now ) .
It's not that you are stealing .
I have seen my friend who has been holding coins for many months and he has made pretty good profit.

I don't think that I should comment anything on the holders as I am one of them. However, I believe that Bitcoin is a payment system and thus I try to spend at least 50% of my holdings because I think that movement is a growth. Since Bitcoin is in the early phase, I also believe that it will give good performance over the time and there is nothing wrong is asking for gains from speculation activities as the investor is also taking the risk with such kind of investment. However, first priority should be given to the making it effective payment system.

Being smart and wise is way too different from being greedy. We all have goals in life and for us to achieve it we must work for it. Well,, holding bitcoin  I think is not greediness. It's just a smart decision to keep our money and gain higher profit. As long as we're not hurting anybody, that's not greediness.

It is not greediness to hold to bitcoin.  Waiting for the right time to spend the money is another reason for holding on.  Waiting for increase value in bitcoin is also one good reason...this is what I know of from the friends of my child.  Holding on to my bitcoin is not being greedy but rather waiting for the right value to trade at the right time to fill my wants and needs.

Greedy or not, the majority of people seem to be doing it. That's why we are seeing a price of 7000+, and who knows where it will stop.
