BitKan Crypto Data Startup Raisse $10 million To Help Global Expansion
BitKan, a leading provider of cryptocurrency services in China, announced today that it has earned $ 10 million in Series B financing round in an attempt to create momentum in the market for the new social media center “K” Site” and expand international operations.
The tour was led by the Chinese financial company Zhongyunhui Capital. Among other participants, IDG Capital and the world’s largest manufacturer of mining equipment Bitmain.
The latter had already invested in this startup. Then, in the spring of 2016, during the round of financing of the series A, the Chinese giant invested $ 1.6 million in BitKan.
According to BitKan representatives, the funds are used to develop the business and create a platform called “K Site”, whose beta is scheduled in April 20. The company is also planning to open offices in Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo as part of its expansion plans.
