Just wait till Bitmain has a new batch available, then you're sure you pay the real price and you will receive it.
Re-sellers are selling these miners for double the price and sometimes even more.
There is also no guarantee that you will actually receive your miner and that it works, really unsafe if you ask me.
But it you really want to do it, go on ebay and buy from a reputable seller.

Anyone tried to buy from Bitmain recently?
I just tried and couldn't checkout, they want a SSN or TAX id.

Niceacrobit what did you put for the fields mentioned below such as tax id ssn and other weird fields that they ask do you have to fill all of these or just fill the ones that apply to you  I dont wanna place my order and do it wrong and loose my bit coins so guidance is great I saw S9 shipment last night in stock sold out over night crazy |

Thanks HagssFIN, didn't get money changed in time for first round of S9's but got two today. Checked the site by chance, still available now if anyone needs one, they only announced the L3's on twitter.

ok I just ordered a s9 yesterday, you only need to put tax info in if you use DHL or Fedx for shipping. If you use UPS you DO NOT need to enter any of that. it did cost like $80.00 in shipping fees though

I am in the US, maybe different other places. also just looked on bitmains site they still have them but the shipping date is now Jan. 11-20th was Jan. 2-20th when I ordered

Bitmain would be the main source to purchase the antminer series since they are manufacturer. Other than you can get the miner with the Ebay resellers who sells the bitcoin antminer second hand and fresh one.
I noticed that Amazon and aliexpress also provides the online purchase option to buy the antminers from their sites.

Thanks That's a good thing to do, mining is a risk in the first place so you shouldn't risk more by ordering online from resellers. I think the L3+ is a good miner, maybe one of the best that Bitmain has to offer because it doesn't seem to be much overproduced like the D3 is. Litecoin is also a stable and reliable coin that has lots of potential for growing even more. |

Yes. As far as I know and have experience, Bitmain factory warranty only stays valid if a private person sells the mining equipment to another private person. |
