Koolio is not a mod here, and cannot delete your posts, I on the other hand can. Lets just make this clear everyone, please keep your BTC-E Dramas on BTC-E. If Koolio banned you on BTC-E, that does not give you the right to spam his threads here. Bitcointalk is not affiliated with BTC-E, and the fact that BTC-E picks its chat moderators from its userbase is not our or anyone else's concern. If you have a problem with Koolio for his moderating on BTC-E, like I said, keep it on BTC-E.
I think the above quote from clarifies BitcoinTalk's position on crap that happens at BTC-e. ~BCX~ When users are banned from BTC-E for extensive periods of time where do they go to communicate? That thought process does not make sense. This forum and that website are complementary products which work cohesively and positively complement each other.... |

SWEET free from the box!! ANd ban Koolio? He never hides his investments. This just sounds like a baby crying because he got caught with his hand in he cookie jar. The mods are Just chat mods and they do it while they trade. Its not like they are paid. Honestly the concept of the troll box does not help the site. Mom and dad Joe Public do not want to be insulted and harrased for questions they ask the whole "Rise Chuken rise" is moronic. Gox has a lion share of the trade for a reason and BTC would have to change its ways a little to start to even get a percentage of that.

I was banned earlier too, 12 million minutes,, I life ban basically. Ive never been banned before. And I can not be more honest when I say that the Only thing I put in that chatbox was "koolio is a child", thats it, and he banned me for life.... Thats why he needs to be removed... I also saw him banning other guests just for expressing their opinion about other cryptos that koolio didnt agree with, they were not abusive and no foul language. Yes, btc-e has nothing to do with bitcointalk, I completely agree with salty spitoons comment earlier, but look at how many things we talk about on this forum that has nothing to do with this forum. 90% of us or better uses btc-e at some point or another, koolio is a member here and a mod there so I do think it is relevant to get the word out here to the majority of the community that uses btc-e. |

Well this is a very interesting thread....
Not that I feel I need to defend myself... its understandable that pretty much all the guys supporting this thread were banned for a very long time by me or other mods on the basis of racism, fud, or straight out spam.
So lets see, as a moderator I do consistently tell those I am a customer just like any other with no other privileges aside from banning. I feel I do the banning fairly and if anyone has issues with this then you shouldn't have done whatever it is you did to get banned.
Now the OP states I lied.... well please show me these 'lies'.
Secondly I made a personal gain?... again if for some silly reason you can see my trades please provide evidence.
and thirdly as others have raised, if you listen to anything in the chat box and make reasons to trade based on this... you are at fault, and clearly do not have the intellect to do trading.

Ok so your claimed research has pulled s little miswording that i appologised for, but really come on you are actually throwing false accussations around. You should be leaving it down to the customer to determine whether I can be trusted or if Im a scammer but you are actually projecting me as a scammer for no reason, ACTUALLY NO REASON! You hate me because of how I mod the chat, but may I add on pretty much every occassion the chat users request bans and I look back at what you've done... You guys seriously need to quit now... Let me put it like this, if I was a scammer would I try this hard to counter your words? really... ?

Koolio for weeks bashed FTC and told people to buy his over-priced LTC. Koolio is now on the FTC team and promoting it. Blatant lies for personal gain are an abuse of power and hurt btc-e as a business.

So dont be silly.... Also why dont you go onto the chat box and ask the users there if I moderate fairly... I think you'll find most users support my actions.... Remember the chat box is part of a business and is not a forum, therefore chat will be moderated heavily... a lot of people forget this

I believe that I read enough that your banning/moderating service is a bit patchy... instead of banning spam bots, people engaged in serious conversations get banned too. Additionally, you yourself spam the trollbox. Additionally, the length of the ban you give is exponentially proportional to the number of hard drinks you had, divided by the pot you smoked. When 4 people will say the same thing over and over, you decide to ban one of them... on what rules?  Is that right? Simply, being a mod anywhere almost universally excludes interfering with trades of other people, which you not only did not avoid, but simply allowed some of the worst offending spam bots to fluorish. Now you wonder why people have conspiracy theories against you? You have to understand that most people have a better memory recollection than pot smokers. (Okay, I am ready to take the pot references back if you can prove that you don't smoke it...) |
