Github Repository Windows Compiled Wallets - ROIcoin Official Repository

Per request...

https://github.com/ROIcoin/ROICoin_x64

https://github.com/ROIcoin/ROICoin_x32

Go to the green "Clone or Download" button and click "Download ZIP".  Unzip to desktop and run from Desktop (easy access).  I would recommend running the wallet as is, to establish a baseline, before you start adding flags for optimization.

Due to the way Github works, the file names have "-master" added to the file name.

Please be sure you are running at minimum, Windows 7 SP1.  Some optiminer flags will not work on Win7 x32.

For the meantime, both the Github repository and https://roi-coin.com will maintain updates.

It is our intention to keep updates to a minimum, as the community guides the development of the coin, improvements will be made and updated on a scheduled basis.  The exception will be due to an emergency situation requiring immediate remediation.

Thank you!

The block explorer is being worked on and will be done soon  Smiley

Tested win wallet on i5 7600 and i7 7700k. Got following results:
i5 7600: 150-160 h/s
i7 7700k: 190-200 h/s
Are these results normal?

I would love to see the stats as well.   Grin  I want to analyze the data with information that simply is not available in the wallet.

I need to build out 2 more nodes for our cousins on the other side of the globe...  I will be getting back to work on the BE shortly after.  The alternative would be to take down an existing node, which I want to avoid.  I will simply build it out on the new nodes.  Getting the block explorer up and running is our highest priority as it is a requirement for getting on the exchanges and for transparency within the community.

As soon as its tested out, we'll post it here first as well as the IPs for the new nodes.  Thank you for your patience.

I think you can get higher hash if you add the flag for -optimineraes=1

Please try it and see if you can raise that hash higher.

With the wallet closed right click the .exe icon that launches the wallet and choose properties. Then in the box labeled target go to the very end and add one blank space then enter -optimineraes=1 and then click apply and save and then relaunch the wallet and check your hash.

Can we connect two different PCs in the same local network to single wallet? Is there standalone miner without wallet?

This coin is a nice breath of fresh air, it's really awesome... or so I thought until I've seen the premine.

Bunch of great points here for sure and believe me we had a lot of discussion on this pre-mine. I would not consider an ICO and when you're talking about dishing out $100K in 6 months for all coin expenses the money has to come from somewhere. I love your 720th block reward concept but honestly our investor would like to see his capital returned within a 24 month timeline if possible.

Herein is the dilemma, how do you apply a talented team of people, pay all associated expenses, provide for professional paid marketing and then do this without an ICO? Our solution was to involve an investor and whether our decision was good or bad only time will tell.

Believe in this coin or not is up to your best judgement and I totally respect your decision. With that being said my word is solid and the dev team will not "dump" this coin in a fashion to make or break it at anytime. As mentioned before the pre-mine will be bled off slowly in a controlled manner with a balance that returns the initial capital and yet doesn't have a negative impact on the coin. Past that we will also be transparent in terms of providing details as to where the startup capital got spent and also details in terms of how many coins are bled off and when and for how much and even the return that was produced. That's the best we can do.

I know some people will be concerned with the pre-mine and I totally understand that. If it keeps them from getting involved I do regret that but honestly if I had this to do all over again from scratch I would get the investor money and do the pre-mine just as it has been done. I think we will see more benefit from having substantial up front capital funding vs having people that stayed away due to the pre-mine having not stayed away if that makes sense.

Time and time again I've seen decent altcoins fail because of insufficient capital and insufficient dev team size and insufficient money for exchange listings and paid advertisementsd, etc.

A 60,000,000 premine, close to two years of mining and you're worried about the name?

First thing I am going to say is if the pre-mine is a problem for you then that's cool there are plenty of other coins out there.

The next thing I would say is the pre-mine was bought with 14 btc or $100K usd. Would any of you want that much skin in this game? Is anybody out there wanting to transfer 14 BTC or 100K USD in exchange for these pre-mined coins? Who is chomping at the bit to put their skin in this game like that?

Truth is I've bought billions of altcoins and rest assured I never paid that much money for that many coins ever. This initial capital investment is very substantial in comparison to the pile of coins.

Lastly, if 94% of the coins being mined out by whoever wants to apply hashing seems like that won't be enough for the community then once again there are plenty of other coins out there.

I've seen and heard these discussions before and just one example is when I first started getting involved with Bitconnect all I heard was bashing bashing bashing day in day out. Yep it was a huge ICO. Take a look at what that coin has done in the last year and oh yes I have made a ton on it and each day I make a ton on it. Don't think for one minute that negative opinions on a coin is the final word on the final outcome of any coin.

Should we have done an ICO and sold the pre-mine quantity for 14 BTC? It would be the same difference except worse because the money risk would be spread out across many investors instead of just one person. Thing is if this had been an ICO I'm sure plenty of people would be having plenty of negative things to say.

This coin is moving forward and you can get in or stay away and whatever you choose your decision it totally respected and I wish you the best!

14 BTC for 60M coins = 23,33 satoshi each coin. If the price will go higher there is no guarantees that investor won't want his investments back.
