This is a pretty cool CPU benchmark.

I've evened out around 950H now. Only a couple of users above me in the pool of 41.

I guess about half the users are mining solo, so we probably have about 100 users mining this already.

i still mining solo, no time to change to pool yet.
having 300h/s only.

getting nothing for 13h already.

sad...

how was the pool go? how long get 1 block?

the pools been up 6 hours and has found about 20 blocks . seems to be working fine for me, i got my workstation (i7-6700) on it, and also my smaller laptops Cheesy
coinbase maturity is high, no sure how many blocks 360 confirms will be, i wanna get my coins locked in here asap, start playing with that Cheesy
i love the idea of it being Hodl PoS AND normal PoS in case one wants more liquid coins.
Come join the pool man, tho soon people will doggypile it maybe too, been a while since we seen a hodl coin round' hur  Tongue

just changed to pool now.

my cpu is I7 4770, running 4 tread.
only get 88h/s.
while solo, i can get 300h/s

any problem with my setting?

i using the haswell.exe
Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

How can I mine with my second PC to my first?

mining to Network:
https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@phash/roicoin-howto-mine-to-localnetwork

but I recommend mining to the pool!

For the pool: still the question, which address to use?

Where you got 48k coins for pool and miner help rewards, if you have sold out 60kk premine to investor for 14 BTC as you said before?

The dev team holds full control of all the pre-mine coins at this time.

At our discretion we can choose to fund needed items in BTC or pre-mine coins whichever is needed.

So, explain to a n00b. How do I exacly lock coins? I looked in the help at console but found nothing of use.

Smiley

Click on the Receive at the top
Type in a label - you can leave the amount blank if you want
Now click the Request Payment button

A window pops up and click the Copy Address button
Now click the close button and close the popup

Click on Deposit at the top
Paste the address you copied in the previous step into the Deposit Address box
Enter the amount of coins you want to deposit
Decide whether or not you want to deduct the fee from the amount and check or don't check that box
Choose the amount of time you want to term deposit the coin
At the bottom left click the Deposit ROI button

A popup will tell you all the details of your term deposit so you can review it
If it looks good click Yes and finish up the term deposit

Now on the overview tab it will appear in the bottom section with all the details

Let me know if you have any questions or run into any problems.

awesome! will try it out as soon as I have a payment! Cheesy

For reference here are the term deposits you can earn. The longer the term deposit the better the reward...

Standard Term Deposit Reward: (2 days up to 1 year)
     1 Week Term Deposit 2.12%
     2 Week Term Deposit 4.49%
     1 Month Term Deposit 10.87%
     3 Month Term Deposit 45.39%
     6 Month Term Deposit 125.05%
     12 Month Term Deposit 426.38%

I'm working on a spreadsheet so I can produce a nice term deposit graph. It will be done soon and I'll post it so you can visualize the change in reward over different term deposit lengths.

excelent!

and how will it work? I assume that the rewards you get from your locked coins also are locked until the time comes when initial coins are released?

Yes when you term deposit lock coins you cannot spend or move them. Once they unlock you have the initial coins plus the full reward and they can then be used any way you like.

If you go into the console and enter

Code:
setgenerate true 2

your cpu usage will go down but so will your hashrate (the number can be 1,2,3,4 or -1 for unlimited).

Yes you can use the same wallet address in as many rigs as you like.

Thanks Smiley

Standard POS Reward: Approximately 8% APR
Standard Term Deposit Reward: (2 days up to 1 year)
     1 Week Term Deposit 2.12%
     2 Week Term Deposit 4.49%
     1 Month Term Deposit 10.87%
     3 Month Term Deposit 45.39%
     6 Month Term Deposit 125.05%
     12 Month Term Deposit 426.38%

I have a question on PoS and term deposit, for example I have 1000ROI, and I sign up 1 week term deposit. So, after 1 week, I will get 1000ROI + term deposit 2.12% + PoS 8%, is it correct?

Very interesting question.

The way the code is written the term deposit is a multiplier on top of the standard POS reward. So the standard POS always exists and then a term deposit multiplies it and the longer the term deposit the bigger it multiplies. So yes on your question they are actually combined however I would say a no on your question where you say "I will get 1000ROI + term deposit 2.12% + PoS 8%" The rate examples shown for 1 week through 1 year are a total payout with everything combined if that makes sense.

When you do a term deposit the wallet will actually tell you what the payout will be and once the term deposit is complete the wallet will display many term deposit details such as Principal, Accrued Interest, Accrued Value, On Maturation, Term Length, Deposit Block, Maturation Block and Estimated Date.

One thing I want to point out is that for the sake of simplicity I do tend to refer to interest rewards in the form of days, weeks months or year. The truth is it is actually specifically tied to the blockchain blocks. Every time the block chain spits out the next block the POS reward is updated and thus you do earn POS interest 24/7 and immediately. Now term deposits also are specifically tied to the blockchain blocks as well. So since the blocks are coded to be 2 minutes apart a 1 day term deposit is more accurately defined as 720 blocks.

Why does this matter? It matters because the blockchain is not going to run like a swiss watch at precisely 2 minute block timing. The block timing will vary because the difficulty algorithm (MIDAS) will respond to changes in hashing load that will impact the block timing. In other words the block chain could actually can and will run at a different time interval than exactly 2 minutes and this in turn would make a change to the interest payout in terms of describing it in a time frame of days, weeks, months, year.

I hope this is making sense I don't always do a great job explaining stuff. Just know this... the POS is very reasonable and the term deposit is very exceptional and you will be rewarded more the longer you term deposit the coins. All listed interest payouts are approximate numbers and subject to vary based on the actual timing of the blockchain.

Thanks for the detailed explanation. The term deposit is totally a new concept in crypto currency world. I'm very excited and immediately place my one and the only mined block reward into one week term deposit to try out Smiley
