Excellent discussion. Is there any update on other exchanges - Yobit et al? Also any discussions with more mainstream exchanges - Liqui, Binance etc.? We need more promotion for the coin to gain some market traction.

maybe its time to even small exchange like coinxchange?

Coin is listed now at CoinsMarkets https://coinsmarkets.com/trade-BTC-ROI.htm
Never heard of nor used this exchange before but after working it over I like it a lot. Right off the bat I fell in love with 1. They don't harvest the POS on coins but pass them out to the exchange peeps! 2. Cool built in airdrop setup for coin promotion 3. Fast fast service

Coin has been submitted for listings at the following and am waiting for the exchanges to bring the coin live. I honestly can't say how soon that is going to happen..

KUcoin
Southxchange
Trade Satoshi
Yobit

This will give us 5 exchanges for our starter kit at launch. We'll let the coin sort out a bit and then we'll go after some bigger exchanges I reckon.

Here is a Ryzen 1800X spitting out about mid 600's hash mining straight from the wallet with 1 flag -optimineraes=1

I found that coinsmarkets did not accrue the 8% stake for ROIcoin, but others working fine. Anyone notice or face it too?

I don't have any coins there I'm not selling any coins so your observation is really helpful...

Would you mind dropping their support a line and give them a jingle and see what they come back with and then let us all know please.

is that on Linux 600 is screaming fast. I got  what i consider a dam good computer 1600 bucks  a real Intel i7 running at 4.2 ghz but only 280 hash. Thats nuts some amd crackerjack box blows my doors off. any advice?

It's no NIX box it's actually Windows 10. Just a cheezy lil Ryzen 1800X 8 core I reckon but yep it cracks mid 600's hash 24-7. Thing is some days one of my i7 3770's will find more blocks and those miners only smash about high 200's hash. There is a luck factor right... some days two identical i7 3770's sitting side by side one gets 4 blocks while the other one gets 0!

When that block gets released it's a race across the network to solve the hash and to some extent luck can play a role. Past that over time and distance and in terms of long term averaging a higher hashing box will produce more blocks...

Can I ask...  Was it a wallet balance or pending orders?  I personally don't see why there would be a difference.  But to the exchange, its possible the status of the coin changes when moved from a wallet to a pending order.

Might be the best way to get clarification from them, if there is a differentiation.  I will setup an account tomorrow and ask as well.

I was so curious I went to check them out.  Watch out for the troll box...  Some of them are likely to end up in a very warm place at a later date...

https://coinsmarkets.com/stake.php

What is Stake ?
Proof-of-stake (PoS) is a type of algorithm by which a cryptocurrency blockchain network aims to achieve distributed consensus. Unlike proof-of-work (PoW) based cryptocurrencies (such as bitcoin), where the algorithm rewards participants who solve complicated cryptographical puzzles in order to validate transactions and create new blocks (i.e. mining), in PoS-based cryptocurrencies the creator of the next block is chosen in a deterministic (pseudo-random) way, and the chance that an account is chosen depends on its wealth (i.e. the stake). In PoS cryptocurrencies the blocks are usually said to be forged (in the blacksmith sense of this word), or minted, rather than mined. Also, usually all the coins are created in the beginning and the total number of coins never changes afterwards (although there are some other versions of PoS where new coins can be created). Therefore, in the basic version of PoS there are no block rewards (e.g. as in bitcoin); so, the forgers take only the transaction fees.

How to stake a coin ?
1) - You need to select a coin with stake ability .
2) - Send coin to your wallet here in coinsmarkets or buy coins .
3) - Stake are credited once per day around GMT time @ 00:00 .

How we calculate stake ?
Stake coins are calculated once per day (GMT time @ 00:00 ) , We count overall generated coins and split them on all users balance .
So a balance of 10 coins get 10 share , a balance of 1 coin get 1 share .
If the total balance of the wallet is 100 coins then the user who had 10 coins (10% of the wallet amount) get 10% of total staked coins.
Note even coin that are currently in trade (on order) will also generate stake share .

How much can i make from staking ?
Each coin is different , please refer to the coin specification to calculate your stake .

Why it is better to stake your coin in coinsmarkets ?
1) - You will generate more staking coins with us , Since u are not only getting stake coins according to own balance but also coins from our wallets made from DEV giveaway ,fees and transaction fees .
2) - You will keep generating stake coins even if your coins are in order , Ability to trade and stake at the same time .
3) - Some coins require that you keep your wallet open in order to generate stake , Our wallet is always online 24/7.

We only have 1 pool to mine? it looks like kinda pointless to mine with CPU if people already mining with nice hash.

Why said so? There is no difference that nicehash also use CPU that rented out by other people...

What is the point of this coin?

What is the point of you spamming BCT to death with all these spam posts promoting an ICO (Powerledger cough cough) then jump in here messing with our clean tread?

I've done great solo mining so it's been no waste of energy for me. Maybe you didn't know how to do solo mining profitably I reckon.

No need to wonder why we created the coin... just read our lengthy and fully explained reasons for creating the coin...
