Try this flag second: -optimineravx2=1

Hello, the flag above crash your program (even when used alone, I’m getting Mingw assertion error) on my Windows machine (I used your binary) whereas I have an Intel core i7 6700k.

Regards,

Note to solo miners on the cluster, You can see your hash rate on the miner. You will see each threads hash rate. You can not see the hash rate like you would with the getmininginfo command. I am looking to put info on the website http://roicluster.miner-pools.com but that is in a long long line of work I have to do.

Hi, The only time you would need that command is if you are solo mining.

If you wish to solo mine you should follow the info here http://roicluster.miner-pools.com/ and use one of the miners at the bottom of the page. You only need to change the .bat file to have your key there is no need to run the wallet unless you wish to.

Quick Update:

The signatures have been updated to include the Slack Channel. I am going to post the code here but for future reference you'll find the signature code and samples on the very first ANN tread. Just go to the first ANN thread and scroll to the bottom and find the heading "Roi Coin Marketing Materials."

Complete newbie here. Sorry if I ask the question that was answered before but I can't find the answer. I was mining and I got 120 ROI coins so far. I used instructions and I deposited all 120 ROU coins for 12 months.

Now I have to move all data to another computer as I need to return the original one back. I will continue mining from a new one. How can I move everything to different computer? Thanks

All you need is the wallet.dat file.
1. install the wallet on new computer
2. overwrite the new wallet.dat with your old one.
3. re-start wallet

if you need more help join us on slack see my signature for the link.

C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\Roicoin
wallet.dat
at the first time you execute wallet-qt .exe ,it will ask you  to choose path to storeage datas.
"%APPDATA%/Roicoin" or "C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\Roicoin" as defualt.
you can set whatever path you want, that's where the wallet.dat file should be.

I would like to thank ghobson, luckykitty and snmoney to clarifying my question on moving to another computer.

I do have a second question.

I played with shortcut/startup flags:
Try this flag first: -optimineraes=1
Try this flag second: -optimineravx2=1
Example 1: -minermemory=2 -genproclimit=2
This sets mining using 2 GB of memory, with 2 threads on each GB.
Example 2: -minermemory=3 -genproclimit=8
This sets mining using 3 GB of memory, with 8 threads on each GB.
Example 2: -minermemory=6 -genproclimit=12
This sets mining using 6 GB of memory, with 12 threads on each GB.

On one computer, with these flags I have:
HPS: 35 h/s
Miners:6
Threads: 17

while the other with no flags I have:
HPS: 181 h/s
Miners:1
Threads: 8

Which one of these configurations would give me a better chance to mine a coin?

Thanks

There isn't much point in solo mining through your wallet any more. You would probably be better of trying cluster mining.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2361848.msg24691101#msg24691101

Just download either of the miners in that comment and replace the wallet address with your own and you're ready to go.

Note to solo miners on the cluster, You can see your hash rate on the miner. You will see each threads hash rate. You can not see the hash rate like you would with the getmininginfo command. I am looking to put info on the website http://roicluster.miner-pools.com but that is in a long long line of work I have to do.

If you want nicehash out, just disable nonce, nicehash will disconnect all nodes on the mine and we are again alone.

You can use the same address... rather I would say doing that is more convenient!
