The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

MikeMD, why are you shouting? They are short of your currency. You have to switch to other coin and wait for payment. Pools traditionally not guarantee stable payments in altcoins.

Mike,

The below explination from nov is correct.  It is listed clearly on our front page about guaranteed currencies.  We however do make a point to buy and payout once we feel we are not going to hit enough blocks to fulfil the payment.

Thanks.

Hi BlockMunch:

Sent you an email, but wanted to post here too.... my PHILS wallet is in the email.

I am mining PHILS, and your pool is good, thank you.

I see a variety of coins getting mined when no PHILS coin is available, and these coins are getting converted to PHILS for payment.  Good!
The problem I see is when I mine the coin PHILS, which is my wallet coin, the PHILS coins are getting converted to PHILS.  For example, and just for PHILS coin only, I have 50 Confirmed, 20 immature for a total of 70 PHILS showing.  However, the VALUE column is only showing 45 PHILS coins.  the 45 coins are what hits the balance to be paid.

I believe the total of 70 should be the the VALUE.  My guess is your back-end is trying to convert PHILS to PHILS producing the lower VALUE of 45 coins.

Hello,
I checked your wallet and I am not seeing what your seeing.
Your current Immature balance is: 5.51560845.
Your confirmed balance is: 29.46475944
You Value is :34.98036789 PHILS
Your Balance is: 26.07556838 PHILS
And your Total unpaid is 61.37244128 PHILS

So 5.51560845 + 29.46475944 = Your Value of 34.98036789 And then the Value + your balance 26.07556838 = The total unpaid of 61.37244128.

Could you please screenshot what you are seeing?

The pool does not convert if the ticker is the same as the payout ticker.  It only splits the coin between the miners.

Thanks.

Hi Block;

Not sure how to post an image on this thread, so here are the details.

You are correct, the total pending values (across all coins) are:
Immature: 10
Confirmed 30
Value: 40

But, above the line of PhilsCurrency (Total Pending) is the actual PHILSCurrency (Scrypt) line.  This is the line that represents the actual PHILS coins mined.  The values above represent all coins mined, including non-PHILS coins, which are converted.

The PHILSCurren (scrypt) line is showing:
Immature: 0
Confirmed: 12
Total:  12
Value:  6.2

This 6.2 value is bundled into the 40 Value from above.  My issue is the coins mined are PHILS, and are being sent to a PHILS wallet, so the coins mined total of 12.4 should be the carried to the value column.   In this case, it seems I am losing 6 PHILS coins, where you are only giving me 6PHILS VALUE for the 12PHILS mined

The line PhilsCurren (Scrypt) should not be converted to a value, as it is the actual coin for the wallet provided by the miner.  In other words, I should have 46 PHILS value now, now 40

Thanks for the second look, I want to turn point more miners to your server but need this corrected first.

Thank you for pointing out the bug!  We have fixed it, if you wouldn't mine giving it another try to make sure you see the results we put in place?

Thanks!

Would it be possible to change the unit of measure for X11 from mBTC/MH/day to mBTC/GH/day for all charts?  It would make the graphs and figures more align with other pools like zpool.  Thanks!

Hi guys, thanks for making the update that quickly!  Just want to check in that that change didn't affect what coins to mine and what not to - it seemed to move away from Dashgold (currently at ~0.8 mBTC/Gh/day) to other coins at much lower profitability...10x less profitability to the next coin.  Thanks!
