Has any of the developers/founders of Alexandria/oip, FLO etc discussed or considered backing up the domains via namecoin in the near future.

This may be a little early to say as these projects are still in progress, but I believe ipfs are supporters of namecoin too.

If so you can calculate an estimate of how many namecoin needed to setup some or all domains and I would be willing to fund this.

No, both should work and I generated the releases using gitian so they should be equivalent

If compiled from source also it shouldn't be a missing dependency, is there a permissions issue with Flo wanting to write to it's data directory failing?

Which distro? Arm, 32/64 bit?

Who am I?  I was an old Florincoin holder back in the day.  I owned a little over 10,000,000 FLO at one point and I know how it feels to have to trust an exchange like Cryptsy or have a exchange like Poloniex demanding your social security!  We built our XChange with all of those altcoin horror stories in mind.
