Wow didn't realize this coin was so old, nearly 2 years old  Shocked  Just noticed you guys on Bittrex and thought I'd check out your thread.
So what's going on here? I just checked the Florin dev's profile and it appears he hasn't been on here for over a month. Is this coin still being actively developed? For a PoW coin with max 160,000,000 coins, it's very tempting to buy atm with the price being under 500 sat.

Google for alexandria and Florin and you know why...

I just googled 'alexandria', 'florin' and the entire first page results has nothing to do with cryptocurrencies. Can't you be a bit more generous/helpful/specific with your information giving? I don't have time to go hunting for clues. Is there a specific site/article/post you could point me to?

first hit on google:

http://bitcoinist.net/exclusive-qa-with-joseph-fiscella-florincoin-and-decentralized-applications/

second hit on google:

https://twitter.com/official_florin/status/525683856540962816

Thanks I'll check it out. I wasn't being rude BTW, I typed "alexandria florin" into the google search box and got absolutely nothing cryptocurrency related. You obviously typed it differently, if you'd provided me with the exact way to do it, I wouldn't have had to bother you again. Just sayin'  Smiley

No Problem mate, i am on my Mobile that is why i am so short

Jebus?

Great, so bryce is behind this?

I can't believe I sold most of my 2,800,000 FLO over the past 2 days.

Looks like FLO is just getting started, only a $50k market cap, so I'm gonna try to buy some of my FLO back.

As far as I know, Bryce is not involved in anything Florincoin related.

Let's see if we can add 2+2 here real quick-like.

-  Bryce is buddies with Joey [FLO dev].  I know people and this is a fact.  They've been chilling together for quite a few months.

-  Jebus911 is a twitter troll who is lock-in-step part of any and all Bryce pumps and various coin projects.

-  FLO spiked 300% on big volume on zero news, zero hype and it's holding rock solid - which means somebody doesn't mind paying 4 times more for FLO and they're willing to buy all they can get.

-  Jebus just so happens to post saying Florin has been working on various projects; implying big things are coming.

So then....

Edit:  BTW, I stated long ago that I'm nearly certain Bryce is a fed.  Just an FYI.  More reason why I buy into his coins.  Hahaha! Props, bro!  You guys hiring?  Haha!

Bold claims on the Blocktech site about Alexandria.

Agreed!

So....

Why no press?  Why no articles?

Come on Bryce, don't let that [clever] silly ISIS stunt ruin your style.

Let's rock this thing, brother!  lol

There are many of coins on Cryptsy which spiked on no news for no reason and were pumped to 5-10x price and dumped few days later in last 2 months . The scenario was always the same, buy high volume cheap, pump to 10x price, than place big buy order at 3-5x of pre pump price and wait. Than some noob came, placed another big buy order near that big order and suddenly old buy order disappeared and pumper dumped. He earned big profit thanks to buying high volume cheap. Than he just sold the rest and left the coin. Classic pump trap. I have sold everything at 49000 already and I do not care if it will go to 100,000 or higher. What I know, FLO is now pumped, and I never buy into pumps. So If I own coins, and I think probability of dump is higher than of pump, I sell and I am fine with my gains. If you have sold, you did smart decision, anything else is just speculation.

Of course, I might be wrong. But I am 99% sure, I will be able to buy my FLO back much cheaper than I have sold it in few weeks.

Added to Bittrex as well

That requires serious bribes for a coin with low volume.

And Bittrex is where coins go to be manipulated.  lol

Hi everyone. Just wanted to introduce myself - my name is Devon Read, I'm the founder and CEO of Blocktech and the inventor of Alexandria (but certainly not it's developer - we've got some really amazing people doing the magic behind it). We've been public about Alexandria being under development for nearly a year, and have never made it a big secret that it was being built on Florincoin. The recent uptick in activity on the coin has been due to people finding out more about what exactly Alexandria is. We were pretty much in stealth mode on it since October, and in the past week we've started showing alpha-stage builds to a couple dozen cryptoheads. We reached out to a number of exchanges to consider carrying Florin so that trading into it is as easy as possible for our users from whatever other coin they have, and Poloniex and Bittrex were both excited to support the coin once they understood more about Alexandria.

If any of you have any questions about Alexandria, why we chose to use Florincoin, or anything else, just let me know. If you'd like to join our private beta list, there is a sign up form on our website (www.blocktech.com) and if you'd like to check it out in it's current pre-beta stage, send me a PM.

Thanks!
Devon
