There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

I'm pretty excited about Florincoin and the potential it has for secure communications. Could someone point me in the direction to some projects that are being worked on for applications of this neat cryptocoin?

Have u been around when florin took off, that was a maddening pump. Now its in the consolidation phase, wait for it to over and get in with another 1000 btc. If u invest 1K btc in this crap now u will get over 100 btc by early fall which is a significant gain. I mean 10x loss as a result of 10x reduction in value. I still have doubts as to why polo still keeps it. |

Insider trading of illiquid altcoins would be silly for polo considering they likely bank over $125mm/year in fees. Also, can't put much say into low res images of arbitrary trade dates... The coins listed all dumped because they just came out of a 3-8x pump from whoever was systematically organizing these. The delistings are likely a response to potential regulatory scrutiny that would come from being the platform that hosted all the pumps. I stopped putting any stock into coinidol after their ridiculous "trial" they kept advertising. |

New explorer released on http://florincoin.info! If you still see the old explorer.alexandria.io, clear your browser cache and wait a bit for DNS to propagate, or visit the IP address directly. Advanced users could use dig on the command-line to find the new IP and check it manually. $ dig florincoin.info

(more like any other stock and index in the world ICO or not got your portfolio down 25 % or 85 %)

The block explorer at florincoin.info has been updated. Updates: - The explorer will now automatically re-boot itself if the server happens to crash.
- Transaction comment feature set is underway and should be added by end-of-week.
- Configuration for the API page is complete. It has been added to the explorer: http://florincoin.info/info
- The full-node IP address has changed to 193.70.122.58, please update your florincoin.conf file.

I had around 13 million coins at one point. Rich list doesn't mean shit because large holders wack their shit up in order to stay off that shit generally. I've since sold all of my FLO, but I still keep my eye on it and I'm waiting for a good buy point perhaps... |

Florincoin.info has been updated:- The front page now displays the latest transactions with transaction comments (truncated to 64 chars).
- The transaction page now displays the full tx-comment in its own separate box.
- Transaction comments are now included in all API calls.
- Added a new theme "FloLumen" that better fits the Florincoin style
 - The query for the front page has been optimized and page loads should be faster.

*waves* They got good shit here potentially. Sucks that Shapeshift quietly dropped then for that Library shit.  Devon is good too or at least a lot better than most (which is all you need!) I believe once Alexandria goes big... I'm supposed to have a Urinal named after me at the office.  (Life goals eh?) I actually own a little tiny bit of the grunt fund as well as I recall. I really like this project. |
