2012 5 btc coin with hologram mispelling error,
Wow, there actually is a such thing. I thought spelling error was only on 2011 coins.

Pretty sure the series 1 5 btc coins were 2012, and have hologram error. Sold one to nightowlace a month ago actually.

Bought the 10 btc all silver from Cletus here, and traded another all silver for a Silver with gold B from BTCurious

Bought the 5 btc coin, 25 btc coin, and 1 btc coin from Coblee. All of them can vouch for these trades.

I'm just looking at what offers I can get. Not really selling unless I get an offer I can't refuse.

Check ebay prices to get an idea of what I might be looking for. Might be giving a slight discount if paying in bitcoins.

To get this collection I'm guessing you outbid a number of people in several different auctions (I was part of some of those auctions, actually). You honestly can't be surprised that no one is coming close to your bidding expectation when you've already outbid everyone once.

Also, how about some pics?

I can say that all coins are of great condition. I trust DM90 100%.

Dustin I would be interested in one of the 10's hit me up with a price on FB. I am sure I know other people who would take the other coins.

Why are eBay prices nonsense?  After fees are accounted for (~10% of final auction value), it's just as good a number as any.  I've sold a couple of 2011 coins on eBay for almost $1,000 each, which would make ~$900 BTC for the same coins fair in my book.

I agree. eBay actually seems like a better tool to gauge true market value. Most forum members have been around for awhile and a lot of them either own, have owned, have no interest in Casascius coins etc. Many new bitcoiners, enthusiasts, and otherwise don't know this site exists. So eBay to me gives a more general valuation and as Sgt said after fees typically is slightly higher than what the forum feels the value should be, which makes sense considering the extra steps you have to go through to convert that money back to BTC.

I'm actually not surprised, just informing everyone of expectations. I will PM anyone who offers something I like.
