how much minning difficulty could increase in 2018 ?
Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

Assuming you are talking about mining Bitcoin , this IS the BTC area after all, even in best of times -- unknown other than it WILL increase.
With the upcoming fork -- even more anyone's guess.

If you are asking about any other coin aka altcoins - go to the altcoin area and ask.

It went up over 300% in 2017, and I'm betting it will increase even more in 2018 as newer hardware comes online.
