Hello All,

I believe this is the right place to ask before entering into the path of ICO and its procedure. Because this website has some of the best critics in the world.

I am civil engineer by profession (since 10 years) of India Origin. Currently I am residing in the Middle East (Muscat and Dubai) and would like to start construction company in India.

The construction would be mainly Building of Apartments or both Apartments & Commercial spaces. In these buildings, Either those spaces (flat/commercial space) will be rented/lease or sold.

For this construction, I aim to develop funds through ICO in return of Tokens. Such tokens will be (like normal IPO procedure) on Exchange market, or taken as an asset etc. In return, I am thinking those profits will be shared among token holders but I am not sure as I believe it is against SEC. However I still need to understand more about ICO.

Kindly please provide your valuable feedback on this. Based on this, I would proceed forward such as Team Building, selecting the place for construction etc.

Your other comments/suggestions/advise are most welcome.

Regards

What you just described is probably a security and is not allowed by the SEC. This means you will not be able to launch the ICO in the United States and most likely ban US people from investing.

You want to start a construction company. But I don't know if you'll succeed or not. There's uncertainty.
People want assurance that they're making a good investment, how are you going to give that to them?

I fail to see why you need a token for this.  Where is the blockchain?  It sounds like you just need traditional investors.
