I find this interesting, because I was initially under the impression that the Avalon would only work with cgminer, not the 50miner software.  Also, I thought that the Avalon would only work with a few pools to begin with (not 50btc.com) but I guess it was only a matter of time.  Has anyone tried to mine an Avalon with them yet?

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!
