I actually read all the news about the cryptocurrencies on facebook. I just followed cointelegraph and that's where I get the news from and they are constantly updated too so I trust everything they post on there everyday and make it a point to check the current updates as well. Oh and sometimes I check through twitter.

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

I usually get my news from Facebook, twitter and telegram. One thing worth mentioning is that the more coins you hold the harder it becomes to actually keep up with the news...

News about your favourite crypto currency should be found first on it's official channel! BTT, SLACK, TELEGRAM ETC. The market news however is readily available on blogs and online magazines. You should google crypto related news and those magazines will quickly jump wt you!

What websites (besides this forum) or other sources do you use to get news about your coins?
I read on bitcointalk but have the feeling that I miss a lot of interesting news about the coins I own (currently BTC, OMG, ADX, SUB, KMD, ARK, BLOCK, ETH) and would like to stay more 'in the news'.

Thanks in advance for your reply!
Maybe only btc has a very high exchange rate compared to some other types of coins. But if you want to get a profit you usually have to prepare a large capital first. In addition, there is also a promising eth if used to perform various transactions at any time with moderate amount of capital.

Aside from this forum, for me I just used the help for news with google search engine! and that's the best partner I have and currently using if I have queries about cryptocurrencies.

I often read and get information about crypto here.
https://coinidol.com
https://coindesk.com
https://cointelegraph.com
The news provided is interesting and easy to understand.

To see the current prices I like to open the site http://coinmarketcap.com and I also install a blockfolio application to more easily see my assets.

I will suggest you to follow youtube and medium. But always first you need to check here on bitcointalk.
Youtube is good way to get informed about news.

Joining Telegram groups and following/applying in Social media groups provides many upcoming events and updates related to Crypro-currency there are multiple good Crypto related active blogs my personal preference would be active telegram/discord chat groups you can pm if you need links, you get a lot of spam posts on social media groups.

My biggest sources of news are probably cointelegraph and reddit (sometimes 4chan) on the overall market and latest news.

Though often for the latest news on the individual coins/tokens I own, I am always in the telegram/slack/discord channels of each project.

Cointelegraph is known to be one of the most popular sources. There are also multiple channels and chats on Telegram that are useful. For example, Tokenmarket shares Medium posts of the token sales it is listing right there in their group on Telegram on a regular basis.

Also of honorable mention, sometimes when I'm driving I'll listen to a few select Youtube channels. most of the info I already heard about but sometimes find nuggets. It's often my last source of info though. I definitely recommend avoiding the youtubers pushing their own coins.......you know who they are.

Interesting. Can you share links to the channels you are used to listening?

By the way, if anyone knows some good podcasts, please share as well. Thanks.

I think reddit is a very good place to follow your coin news as every coin has a different subreddit and there's new activities everyday. Twitter is a good and official source to follow news about the project too.
I remember the time i was looking for how cryptocurrency works then I type on google and alot of topic came out from the post on reddit but i find the difficult to understand how posting is done on reddit. it is too close and it is very difficult to locate topics and discussion on the web for that time but after some many stumbles on many article on the site I begin to like reddit and up till today I still go there to read news on latest and trending ICO. it is very resourceful

If you are interested in a coin then its home page is the place to have the most news but you can follow on twitter, reddit, bitcointalk, coinmarketcap these places give you a lot of information.

There's a lot of ways to keep in touch with news and updates about your coins. Me, i usually go to their twitter accounts which most of the devs are using. Some are telegram, slack channel and medium. Sometimes i visit their ann thread here to search for updates about their project. This forum is very helpful because most of cryptocurrency that being created. They introduce and promote it here. So this is very useful especially to those who are finding potential investment that could give them profit in the future.

I am in many chat rooms in telegram. From there I draw information. Basically, news is repeated in all chat rooms.
