I would definitely buy before the hardfork since it is expected that after th3 hardfork, its market value will be more expensive so it is more practical to invest beforw the segwit2x. Ofcourse, if you will invest 100000$ it has a huge difference than investing onlu 10000$ for the simple reason that if your investment is big, the profit will be huge.

Knowing that the hardfork last August made the market price of Bitcoin to go skyrocket in just a short period of time making its value to increase upto 4200$ from 2800$, i think it will be a better idea to buy and invest beforr the hardfork. Since there's a huge oossibility that same thing could happen on the incoming segwit2x. Also, investing 100k $ will yield to bigger profit.

Actually I would like to Buy BTC before the fork, cause if i hold some BTC during segwit2x then It will be automatically credited me same amount of chain split token.

I think bitcoin is currently too expensive to buy and now is not the right time to buy as corrections is under way after sigwith2x activation. You should keep your $100.000 investments proposal for bitcoin investors after the splitting. I think many traders are also holding currently and that is why bitcoin is moving in ranging trend since yesterday. I have also see that after the splitting we may experience a serious correction and that is when to buy bitcoin at cheap price.

I would buy after the fork because the price is expected to drop down a bit in this date. But even buying before the fork still profitable if you look for long term holding. Generally the price will go up again and it will be higher than its actual level.

I would suggest that going in before the hardfork. This would be the best point of entry since having some Bitcoins before the fork would make you entitled to claim your free coin, in this case the Bitcoin SegWit2x. Who wouldn't want a "buy one take one" in cryptocurrency. Though it is true that anything can happen after the fork, by having both BTC and B2X should be enough to cover your investment

If i have 10k, i would buy bitcoin right after the fork so i would have a chance to have a bigger profit when it rise again. Nobody wants to have a defecit in there asset thats why it is wiser to buy bitcoin after the fork to profit when it rise.

I would buy before the fork because theoretically you get both coins. You should have your Bitcoins plus whatever the fork coin is called. So even if that second coin isn’t worth much, you can potentially sell it for Bitcoins. Or you could just hold it in case it becomes valuable.

I also would not put any Bitcoins on an exchange before the fork because you don’t hold the private keys so you don’t know what will happen.

I would buy BTC before the fork, because I know what the price is now. Let's say something terrible happen after the fork and

you bought BTC during this time, then you might lose those coins. We do not know how the replay protection thing will work

out with SegWit2X yet. {or should I say, the lack there of..} 

Buy before the fork, sell right after the fork for segwit1x. Hold onto segwit2x to see how high it goes(check the price every 30 minutes).

Sell segwit2x when it gets to a certain spot, maybe sell 75% of it, keep 25% of it and see how well it does over time.

Bitcoin cash went up to like 900 each and down to 300 something and now back to 620ish now. Had I have sold at 900 bought back in i could have doubled again.

Same with me too.I would buy bitcoin right after the fork too.Most of the time right after a hard fork bitcoin usually drop its price and then later on rises again.Although we can't really predict its price but we also need an assurance of our own money.

I would keep the money ready in an exchange and buy it the instant the fork hits! Btc will likely take a dump, we just don't know how hard it will fall... But exchanges will disable deposits and withrdawals 24h before the fork, so you need to deposit it beforehand.

i'd probably buy after the hardfork to avoid the risk. We still don't know whether the outcome will be in favor for bitcpin just like what happened last august. I will first observe if the price will increase then invest for my inestment to go along with the increase. Investing bigger amount of money will surely result to bigger profit so that's different than just investing 10k because investing 100k is surely better.

Watch out for a dip days before the fork. I think it will happen. Buy during those one or two days and then hodl your Bitcoins. There are two possibilities however after the fork. It might happen that the value of Bitcoin will continue to climb or it will fall down. There are risks involved actually. But if you plan to continue holding your Bitcoins until past November and December, you will definitely earn gains.

I'd say after the fork as well, it'll be going up for a bit until hardfork and then we'll see a dip again.
