I'm a Armory and IT novice. Looking for any advice on what to do when I've lost my password for my Armory wallet. Advice greatly appreciated.

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

I haven't used Armory by myself, but in general, a long enough password will be impossible to brute-force.
If you remember part of the password, you can contact https://walletrecoveryservices.com/, the owner of that site has a thread here too: Bitcoin Wallet Recovery Services - for forgotten wallet password.

As per the advice given when setting up your Armory wallet:

You will need your "paper backup" with the root key to recover your wallet... you made a paper backup right?

If not, then you *might* be able to brute-force your password if it wasn't too long/complicated and you have some idea of what it might have been. refer: https://github.com/gurnec/btcrecover

Be aware that Armory has its own subforum at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=97.0. I doubt they will be able to offer better help than already given here, though.
