Ok guys, here it is. One of my three Avalon batch 2's are up for sale.

Terms:

I will use escrow for 50% of the sale.

Shipping will be overnight anywhere in Canada or the USA, International shipping will take 2-5 days depending on location. I will pay shipping and insurance.

Buy it now price is 150 BTC. Feel free to post your offers here or via PM. This sale will last only one day, it ends Today 18/06/2013 at 6 pm EST.

I have an offer locally for the unit at 90 BTC so any offer lower then that will be refused.

Unit is in hand and ready to ship.

Unit was running at 66 GHS, but due to power issues (not enough power to run the office computers, AC, and the 3 units) the unit is unplugged and ready to roll.

Pictures are available to the BUYER ONLY once the first 50% has been put into escrow. Unit will not ship without the 50% in escrow and the remaining 50% in my BTC wallet! NO EXCEPTIONS!!

any questions please just ask.

So 100% escrow is not available? Where is the local pick up at?

Also would like to know area for pickup.

Is there a reason for not accepting full escrow with John K?

Local pickup is in Montreal. St Catherine and Guy area.

No full escrow because im not looking for headaches/stories. If you have given me nothing you have a large motive to try to lie and keep the machine for free. I don't know but I've heard stories on other forums about escrow sometimes screwing the seller.

I would do some research on John K. He has handled single transactions of over 3,000BTC and I haven't heard of an issue with his service. I know he does a lot of investigation when dealing with attempted escrow scamming.

It would instill a lot of confidence in buyers if you would accept full escrow using his service, myself included. I've also seen escrow deals where both parties put a 2-5BTC deposit in escrow, to verify the commitment of both parties to the transaction. This could be something else you may consider.

The big issue is that you're asking someone to send you $5,000+ equivalent of BTC to your wallet, with no security on the hopes that you'll come through, and yet won't accept a deal where both parties are secured.

I'll be watching this sale as I am interested in this unit and willing to travel for pickup. If you fail to get an offer you like, or if you have a buyer flake out on you then please contact me.

I never said I don't trust Johnk

I'm just saying that I don't always trust the buyer is all.

I'll keep you posted though,

I withdraw my bid, and recommend anyone who is looking to bid on this a very high warning as this is most likely a scam. Talk to the buyer for almost an hour and refused to do 100 escrow, but agreed to do 100% escrow if it would be released when status says box is delivered. The only logical reason I have for this is that the box is empty. I also agreed that I would film the Fedex man walking and me getting the box placing it down and opening it. He said I would simply send myself a brick and record that.

EDIT: I can provide logs for those who want

I told you 100 times, Its my Avalon and I can sell it using whatever terms I want. Its your right not to buy it, so don't get mad when I wont change the terms that are clearly stated in the thread to suit your needs.

I did call you a scammer, i wont lie. When you said the above i think most people would call you a scammer

Surpbitcoin , you have a problem. you have a 1 month old account and so NOONE will trust you with ~$5000

my solution, sell to someone with reputation and take the risk by going first or ship the avalon to the escrow so he can "reship" it to the buyer after checking it.

I already suggested that. I said to reship to BCB since he lives about an hour awayfrom me.
EDIT if bcb isnt good enough tho im fine with shipping to to john K, not sure where he lives but i would want overnight delivery from him to me.

you said you would release 25% no matter what. if you put it in escrow and release 100% upon me gibing the tracking number to john then we can make it work. 100 BTC and release of funds based on the box showing its been delivered.

Surp

Well if your willing to wait until its delivered, why not just let me open the box? I will make sure I am home all day tommarow. so the delay between me opening it and it being marked as delivered will be 5mins max delay. Ill even record the fedex guy walking to my house and ill film it then me placing the box down and opening it.
Exactly what i said.

To which you said
Sorry bud, ima sell to someone else whos more on my wave length

I also told the seller I would be willing to place 10 BTC in escrow.

Then meet in person with FULL payment.

Trade unit for payment.

Then have seller confirm full price paid to escrow and authorize release of deposit back to me.

Seller still said he wanted 10 BTC paid to his wallet. I really don't know what his problem is with the buyer putting deposit in escrow and then paying FULL for the unit in person. There would be absolutely ZERO risk to him.

So the other day I saw someone from Lithuania selling a picture of the 50GHs BFL rig. It said: "You are bidding on enclosed picture of the 50Ghs BFL miner" ... There were people bidding, with 15 bids standing at $750 or so ... So just maybe, that's what you are buying here ...
