There was some weird speculation around D3, this one is the most hilarious  If the marketing @ Bitmain is not on crack, they will not call anything with a D anytime soon if they also want to sell it. What should the + stand for ? A faster loss than the original D3 ? Did BitMain create any FPGA-miner, yet ? I think they were pretty much ASIC since day 1. Really wondering where that info should be coming from |

Dont invest their new products , their strategy has been changed so they will sell excessive number of units then you will get useless heater when you receive your miner.

The new miner is an updated D3+ that can run multi algos
Bitmain is gonna support : X11, x13, X14, X15, Skein. after the x11 failure
Speed 30GHs
The classic noisy bitmain setup (twin fans)
It is not specified if the old D3 can be updated and to be like the D3+ .... probably they want.
Power consumption : 650 watts
Batch 1 target price : $2100
Baikal is gonna cry.......
Soon at bitmain's website....
I believe this is possible ... look at how answered me Yesterday Barbara: The Antminer D3 has been designed and tested to mine DASH only. It can be used to mine other X11 coins as well but we cannot guarantee the performance or efficiency of the D3 miner when used to mine other X11 coins than DASH.
If that changes we will make an announcement.

As if they do not already know that the D3 is used to mine all the X11 coins...I think in that answer (If that changes we will make an announcement) is hidden something they are preparing for us...also because it would not make sense to make an ad to say: yes you can use it with other X11 coins |

Why do you all even care if there will be a D3+ or not? No miner on X11 will any sense at this point. Those specs are already a useless heater specs. 30 GH/s is nothing for X11 the way it is now. |
