I am gonna sell my bitcoin because I believe with the news that segwit will be cancelled the price will dump which will lead to increase of altcoins.
It's better to act this early because bitcoin is just overvalued, let's keep buying altcoins who are still cheap right now.

No way. People are dumping now because they realize that there won't be any chances of getting a "forked coin" to sell later for more btc and then sell their bitcoin. Now, people are dumping right now, so the nice little bubble we were in is gone. We should be seeing a strong drop today that may be over-come in the next 2-3 weeks. I don't think we will have any gains today. Current all time high is somewhere between 7,800 and 7,900 and it will take some time before we can get there.

I agree that people won't sell their holding at an earlier stage of time now, because we its guaranteed that the value will surge high in the next few months maybe at February next year. Although its predicted to rise higher not so specific but it's certain to happen due to rising price lately. More investors will invest now and demand will increase everyday.

The price has actually gone up to around $7700 today, but then it started to instacrash and it's now down around $500 from the all tim ehigh. Still though you would have profited from just holding BTC from your time of post.

I believe that price in the medium term will continue to go up, though a correction will probably happen in the short term to potentially drop prices down to a more acceptable buying level of $6000-6500 per coin.

Buy the dip if you get the chance.

since segwit x2 is cancelled or postponed, the chance to get free/forked coins is gone
the reason people buying bitcoins recently is to hodl and get the forked coins then sell for profit
if you notice in the last few months, bitcoin price is affected by fork news, fud and such
and not because of significant technology improvements nor more applied usage

I think it would be a better idea to hold Bitcoin more and invest to it at this moment. Indeed, there'll be a hardfork in this month and it might be the biggest factor for the value of bitcoin to be more expensive especially if it will be as successful as the recent one and if the outcome will be the same. But i aldo thank you for your kind advice. i will still hold my Bitcoin and see what will happen after the fork.

What is your basis for this recommendation? Can you show us some proof that bitcoin value will not reach $8000?
Me i still continue to believed that bitcoin value have no limitation that is why i just keep my bitcoin in my wallet for the future.
Yes it always depend on the users and there is no wrong decision for this just make sure you will not regret in the future,.

Well for me if its better idea to sell, then do it so that you can have the profit in your hands. But if you think it's worth to reach at $8000 this month, maybe you can have to control your emotions and keep waiting until it's possible to happen. Most users really had an unpredictable mindset and eventually changes their ideas on how to handle emotions and that's right regrets will follow in the feature upon noticing price reached that expensive.

yeah, most people are always greedy and still want more because they are not yet happy and contented on the current value of bitcoins but i think 7000$ is not bad to earn some descent profit and we should be thankful to it because bitcoin reach this far in just a matter of time. though i believe that bitcoin can still go until 10,000$ but it can take a few weeks or months .

There is hardly any difference between fiat currency and the altcoin which is proposed by Amazon. There is no concept of limited supply and no one can mine the coins with the exception of Amazon Corp. It is never going to overtake Bitcoin, even if Amazon offers 10% or 15% discount on shopping with this coin.

Today is November 9th and bitcoin ATH is over $7800, sell at $7126 is a bad decision, as you've missed higher price.
If you want to sell bitcoin in case to avoid price drop significantly, it seems will not happen in the near future, look at current market price, bitcoin always recover and keep increasing in the end of the day. I say; just sell small portion of bitcoin if you need it, because bitcoin potential, could reach $15K in the next year.

Im not confusing them. Im just giving them advise. Its up to them if they will follow or not.

I just want to share the result of my  Fundamental and Technical Analysis.

Fundamentally -

 Upcoming Fork is cancelled, no more free forked coin. whales might liquidate their bitcoins and switch to altcoins.


Technically -

BTCUSD created  double top on H4 Timeframe and a Doji candle. This is a sign of price reversal but too early .

Do you have credible source or this was just as a speculation? I've always read more about this price correction lately in this forum and wonder where did they get this information but i dont know if this was just a black propaganda to reduce the price of bitcoin specially now that the fork was postponed i think more of this will going to appear soon.

You can only sell now if you bought your bitcoin less than $6500 and wait for another deep if serious deep will ever happen. But it will not be advisable to some people like me who bought bitcoin a little less than $7400 yesterday because we will end up selling at lost which is not a rational decision for investors in most cases.
