In my opinion, people suffer from jealousy because of fear. Fear of the unknown like what if the other person becomes greater than them, what if they become less popular and so on. But it all boils down to fear.

Because we are jealous in nature, we want things what others have and take it for ourselves. Its just a mindset and can be fixed by focusing not on material things but on spiritual one.

In my social life, I have experienced many issues which stem from jealousy. Most of the people have a tendency for being jealous of successful, hardworking people. What is the reason for this envy .. I want to know your opinion of this issue.
The very reason is greediness, these kind of men are not happy to see someone in success but seeing at the very pitiful situation makes them glad. They are the hindrance of someone to success because they will always their chance to put you down. While the others are just being jealous not because they don't want you to see successful but they wish to achieve success like you, meaning it motivates them. So jealous comes from two reasons, the greediness and the good ambition. |

Human wants are insatiable.When people have things, many seem not to be contented with
their acquisition.Once they behold what others own or have, thy become envious or jealous of
it.Craving to have what belongs to the other man.This has a trace of greed and discontentment
in it.Therefore, we need to seek some sort of re-orientation to always appreciate what we have
first while working hard for what we seek to add to the quiver.

The human mind is very different. Anger, love, joy or jealousy many emotional mi perhaps you always come forward for a close friend, in his affliction you are one of his closest friends. But maybe you have done something rude and jealous for your dear friend, dearly. Later, you may have felt a lot of pain and you feel very hurt even after knowing your dear friend.

Jealous people suffer from things/skills/status which they do not possess. Some of them are too lazy to try to get the same things. Some of them are really worth it but they are too selfish and miserly to admit someone's success. Anyway such feeling as jealousy is really harmful for well-being and it also makes you waste your time.

There is a different reason in jealousy but on what you have said i think the reason behind it is, they are jealous because they want some thing that others have. They are jealous on the success of others because they don't want others to be above them.

Jealousy is a result of both insecurity and fear. People tend to compare themselves to others, and we cannot take that away easily. But the thing is that, people do insecure because of how they compare themselves to others. They look at it in a negative manner and unlikely angle. People get jealous because they focus on what they do not have rather than focusing on what they have. And another reason why people are suffering from jealousy is because of fear. Individual of jealousy are scared of being replaced, forgotten, and just throw away if someone sees better than them, that is also a result of extreme insecurity. We cannot control what we feel, but that does not mean that we cannot do something about it. How do we react to it is what we can change.
