Well that’s possible. Market is so unstable so anything can happen. To be specific bitcoin will not go like this forever. It will start losing value and alt coins will start gainin back some power back , but to make one big jump forward they could need a small step behind. So it wouldn’t surprise me to see alts losing a little more value before they rise again.

Yeah altcoins will bleed one more time. Bitcoin that affects altcoins directly is rising now 7300 approximately.After the fork, i think, bitcoin will losing its value. (decreasing 2000$ 3000$)

It's kinda impossible that bitcoin will drop down to 2000$ to 3000$ in my vision. Bitcoin already made its way this high and it will continue to go up and up and dominate the crypto world. It will go down for some time but will rise immediately.

all crypto's bleed and you can't predict when the spear will hit you. The external factors are too many (government bans, exchanges hacked etc.) and can't be foreseen in advance. You simply have to accept that the crypto market is overall very volatile and that a 50% increase or decrease in value is nothing extraordinary, it's quite the norm in the crypto space. Once you have accepted that you will feel much more confortable investing, especially in times such as these before forks. The forks additionally always move money to the forkee, and altcoins usually suffer due to that. But after the fork you should expect some appreciation, so don't worry about it too much.

I think we have see a bottom to alt coins. With the suspension of b2x we will see more money flowing back to alt coins. Choose good projects like neo zrx and you will make tons of money.

I wanted to point out to everyone that the bitcoin 2x fork was suspended, not canceled.

So I highly recommend you with your own money .... do not invest heavily on every coin that rises today by 10-20-30-40% because "power games" are not over yet, and what is going up today tomorrow can get off again quickly.

I thought the fork was not happening? Since it was rumored to be suspended then I guess altcoins will start to increase back its price slowly back again. I sure do hope so because some of my coins had been swimming in red for a couple of weeks already although I'm more of a long term type of person.

Start buying alts now.  Don't go crazy though, leave yourself a little hedge.  Now that alts will bounce back a little it's a great time to look at staking coins.  Get some super cheap coins and let them stake as they increase in value.  Win-win.

we have since a fantastic rebound from altcoins, which was expected if you ask me. It was obvious that after the BTC fork that Alts would gain traction, but that kinda came earlier than expected. It shows how fast the crypto landscape is changing and how fast it is to make or lose money. Personally, I think it was a good idea for the fork to be cancelled, and that benefited other coins such as Ethereum. In the short term they might bleed, and that's only short-sighted forecasts. Try to look at the long-term and the potential they have to offer in five or ten years, it will be huge! We are at the early stage of the crypto market and many things are undecided as of yet.

Is it not just ridiculous to see everyone's predictions just fall flat after one announcement? Ouf I just wish I knew about this announcement days before. I guess the segwit2x people will not mind, since they probably bought up all the alts they could just before that announcement. Is the world of crypto great or what?

People know they have power, they brought up all this discussion and caused all the prior forks and BTC value shot up. Now they gave up on their dream, and I am so certain they took a little profit.

Good news for me: my heavy losses is now only around 35 to 40%. Go alts!
