I never knew there's cap on activity, I was getting 14 every 2 weeks 

lol you got 140 activity points it might have changed few times in between.

I'm not sure when my activity goes up.   Theymos thought that maybe I didn't post in a 14 day period, but I'm pretty sure i posted at least 2-3 times per day.   I have seen a bunch of people that have less posts, and have been registered shorter than me, with higher activity, so it is kind of confusing

I noticed mine changed a couple of days ago. So either 4th or 5th was the start of the new period I think.

It updated again on the 4th yesterday. So it'll be every two weeks from then.

Finally I found the post on this, looking forward to getting one more point and not having to wait 360 seconds between posts which is painful! Good effort to limit spam, I guess this came about when the newbie section was closed. Now, how about some extra moderation on the altcoin boards., trolls and scammers seem to run amok in there

N.B. surely an adequate time has passed to re think the 50 coin donator status, $50 was not so much a problem when it was introduced,

What do you need 30 for? You can only get a max of 14 points every two week period.

what you want to now the activity is not moving with posts its going up after every 14 days and its automatic system no one can do any thing with this

Activity is updated every 30 minutes.

What are you still unsure of? It's updated every 14 days. The 30 minutes is how often the forum checks to update activity. If your first post in a month was today your activity would update in 30 minutes and you'd get the 14 activity points. You'd get another 14 points when the next fortnight period starts provinding you made a post.

There's been plenty of discussion on this, and consensus was reached long ago that there will be no change in the BTC-denominated donator prices.

There's been plenty of discussion on this, and consensus was reached long ago that there will be no change in the BTC-denominated donator prices.

Yeah...it sucks, but I agree with the decision not to change the donation btc amount.   I wonder if there were any donators after Nov 2013.   It wouldn't be fair to the original donators who sent 50btc originally...

I don't understand all the interest in lowering the donation amount. Does it make your post more accurate if you donate? Do you get more recognition? Are you somehow special if you're a donator? It certainly doesn't keep you from getting banned - Goat has been banned many times. I look at the people that have given 50 btc to the forum as special alright. Special Olympics kind of special. Even when Bitcoin was cheap and easily mined these hardcore Bitcoin lovers were preaching how 1 Bitcoin would worth a fortune someday and then they gave away 50 of them. Either they have some sort of rot growing in their brains or they never really believed Bitcoin would be worth very much.
