I came across a link declaring the cancellation of the hardfork this mid November earlier and this is a great news. Not worrying about the fork will make people buy and hold Bitcoins without having any doubts about what will happen before and after the fork. Bitcoin wins again  So Perhaps we can see Bitcoin on 10,000 USD sooner than we thought?

People are dumping the coin right now trying to get the best of the bubble and this has been reflected in the drop I've been keeping up with in the past hour. Bitcoin dropped around 500 USD in the past hour or so. In the short term (probably over the next few days), we will see some drops and corrections. However, give it a few weeks and we should be back to doing well on our usual routes. We should also keep in mind the support that's been posed by amazon. Seems like they might pick up bitcoin payments soon.

The deposition segwit2x confused card whales. They don't have time to turn on the pump in order to raise the price before the fork to the maximum. I guess now the price will not increase such steps as it was before. Soon it's December and so I think the price for a few months stabiliziruemost. I see no reason to see this year of $ 10,000.

The price right now is playing wild it is really hard to determine whether it is a drop or a rise, this is very unpredictable right now because segwit halt the Hard Fork the hodling had stop too, I think we need to stay put and wait for the price to settle down it's movement, it is very hard to determine right now if it's gonna sky rocket or Drop.

SegWit2x dying is the best thing that could have happened to bitcoin, the OP calling $10,000 per bitcoin could bear fruition. I certainly hope so any way.

Yeah i'm sure the price will be super volatile in the next few days as some people buy because of the death of the fork and some people sell to get back into altcoins and some people just trading against the volatility. I'll be interested if the altcoin market takes back a bunch of market percentage over the next few weeks. With Bitcoin futures coming and the chain's stability is ensured now though I think we'll keep seeing the kinda of gains we've been seeing and hit $10k by end of year.

What is happening now is really weird. The price reached 7800 dollar and then fell to 7200 dollar in a few minutes. I expected a panic selling and also selling by those who had held their coins because of receiving Bitcoin Segwit2x. But that didn't happen. And now wee see the price has increased to 7300 dollar.

It is really difficult for me to decide what to do in this unpredictable market.

Eye for long term and have a mindset like that if you really believe on what bitcoin can bring more. Since we entered bitcoin world, we already know that price is unpredictable so bet on positive side as we have reasons to do that.

Panic selling is part of the process. We need this dumping scene to test if bitcoin already established a good support at a certain level. After all, the speculation of price crash after the cancellation of Segwit2x will remain as speculation if it's not happened yet.

it would be right to put on the forum true information about what will happen in November. Many are afraid of this month and what can happen to Bitcoin. Of course, I believe in Bitcoin's efficient and promising future, but these panic sentiments greatly affect the pricing of crypto-currencies ..

There's a lot of people, even here on the forum, who thought 2x is going to be like BCC and BTG - an airdrop of free coins. When they found out that 2x is cancelled they dumped it all and you could see that there was a lot of them. At least as many as those who pumped it to a new ATH minutes before. I think it will stabilize in a day or two and the overall trend will remain bullish.
2x was a needed upgrade IMO and it would've passed if they didn't back from it in the last minute.  Now we'll have to wait for more talks and compromises.

That really made the momentum come to bitcoin's rally clearly. I hope this trend will maintain. Traders will generate crazy income if the trend goes like this. The price of BTC rises in USD, KRW, JPY and CNY. All good news for us.

Didn't see this news coming, but the segwit2x fork is not completely dead yet I think. In the statement they say they will suspend it...
Anyway the altcoin market is profiting, all coins in green today.

wow, how could it be possible? i have never thought that it was going to get canceled! i was really expecting to receive those coins, well, maybe they were a 100% lie, but i was waiting for them because the price was going to explode to more than eight thousand dollars once that it was done, anyway, why has it happened? i dont find a good answer to this.
I know that it didn't reached the enought support from the whole community, but it is insane, it only got cancelled because of this?

Consensus among the community is everything in bitcoin. so yes it got cancelled "only" because of that.

It is a needed upgrade but the support wasn't there yet, and it would have been harmful to bitcoin to go ahead with it without the support of the bitcoin community.

As they free money and everyone needed it. So, the segwit2x already ignored by the community. it seems the community back again to the altcoin as the segwit update already denied.
Because they get it for free and they are free to do anything with their own segwit2x coin but this time all of that just like a dream.
When it announces that to turn off segwit2x update and i rush to the altcoin.
